    Not worth the quirkiness

    rating03 Jun 2026

I was really looking forward to my stay here, but I was very disappointed - this is unfortunately the kind of place that overcharges you and under-serves.1) rude/ unhelpful service - while there is no room service and you need to go to the reception for basic amenities, I was really taken aback by the rudeness of the person at reception, who seemed very annoyed when I went down for a second time for a request - I empathise that we are all human, and he was perhaps having a bad day, but being rude to a guest (who was spending 400 CHF a night) is not acceptable. I would be recommending my husband and his company who regularly stay here to diversify their hotel bookings. 2) Aircon and train noise - like many reviews mention, there is no Aircon and the room was overheated on a day that was not unusually warm outside. Opening the windows lead to noise, so either way you don't sleep well. This, together with the rude staff make it definitely not worth the money - please look for other options. And yes, the hotel decoration is quirky but does very little to compensate for the rest.

Hold on to your credit card!

    rating08 Apr 2026

Hotel was in a good location, rooms were comfortable. However, they asked for my credit card as a "HOLD" for incidentals, very common and expected. What was not expected was the fact that they actually charged my credit card over $1000 and over a week later still not resolved. Will never use any of their locations again Mareike Klein, Other at 25hours Hotel Zurich Langstrasse, responded to this review HelloThank you for your feedback. Please let us know your reservation, so we can check the case and help you.In our payments system we can't locate any authorization this high, which wasn't refunded.Thank you & Kind regards

Fun Hotel, But Can Be Noisy at Night

    rating08 Mar 2026

25Hours Hotel has a fun and creative design that makes it feel different from a typical hotel stay. The rooms were comfortable and the breakfast was very good, and the hotel bar had a great atmosphere. The only drawback was the noise at night. Depending on your room location it can be quite lively outside, which may not be ideal for light sleepers. Overall a good hotel with personality, just something to keep in mind. WARNING: Premium Hotel Prices to Stay Above a Nightclub and Get Locked Out of Amenities You Pay for but Can’t Use

    rating20 Jan 2026

If you value sleep, do not book this hotel. My wife and I stayed December 28 - January 1 and it was an absolute nightmare. The hotel runs loud parties in the lobby until 4am. Our bed was literally shaking from the bass in the lobby four floors below. They had parties that went deep into the night two of the three nights we were there. Sleep was completely impossible for our entire stay. When I called reception at 1:30am on New Year’s to complain, they told me “this is the biggest party location” and said the party would continue until 4am. None of this was disclosed when we booked. You are paying hotel prices to stay above a nightclub. The gym, sauna, restaurant, and all common areas were blocked off for private “Heal Play Love Event” parties. Hotel guests had to buy separate tickets to access facilities that we paid for and were supposed to be included. There were signs on the doors restricting access to event attendees only. You pay for amenities you cannot use.The rooms have terrible air conditioning. You either open the window and deal with constant train noise 24/7 or overheat. Combined with party noise until 4am, sleep is impossible. We paid 829 CHF ($350/night) for three nights and got zero sleep and zero access to advertised amenities. I sent an email at 3am on January 1 while my bed was shaking demanding a full refund. Management never responded. They took our money, provided nothing we paid for, and ignored our complaint. Since we were awake until 4am and were unable to get sleep, my wife and I both got sick, which ruined most of our vacation. This hotel charges premium rates while operating as a party venue and treating actual hotel guests as second-class. This is deceptive and unacceptable. I have stayed at other 25 Hours properties without issue, but this location should be ashamed. Management’s complete silence on our full refund request shows they know exactly what they’re doing. This is the last 25 Hours I will ever stay at. I’ve never been treated so poorly at a hotel. Especially one that costs $350 a night. Never again. Do not stay here. Mareike Klein, Other at 25hours Hotel Zurich Langstrasse, responded to this review Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are truly sorry to hear how distressing your stay felt and regret that it impacted your comfort and overall holiday. We would like to clarify a few points while acknowledging your frustration. During your stay, specific public areas of the hotel were rented for a private event, which is something we do transparently and in line with our concept as a lifestyle hotel that regularly hosts events. These areas remain available to guests outside of event times, and alternative facilities are communicated where applicable. We regret if this was not clearly understood at the time and are reviewing how we communicate such situations more clearly prior to arrival.Regarding noise, our hotel is known for its vibrant atmosphere, particularly during major dates such as New Year’s Eve. That said, we understand that this is not suitable for every guest, and we are sorry that it affected your ability to rest. Our team did explain the situation when contacted, but we acknowledge that this did not improve your experience. We also want to confirm that your concerns were taken seriously and that the relevant charges were directly adjusted and refunded following your stay. We apologise if this resolution was not communicated clearly enough or if you felt ignored at any stage. We regret that this stay did not reflect the positive experiences you’ve had at other 25hours properties. While our concept blends hospitality with events and nightlife, we never intend for guests to feel secondary or misled. Your feedback has been shared with management and will be used to reassess how we balance events with guest comfort, especially during high-demand periods.Thank you again for your detailed feedback. We wish you all the best and are sorry that we were unable to provide the experience you expected on this occasion.

    A Party Hotel

    rating06 Jan 2026

A little bit of the beaten path and (according to staff) right on the edge of the rough part of the city, sits this hotel. Filled with interesting pieces and odd bits of art - look for the cigarette smoking stoat, this hotel is brimful of quirkiness and style and you certainly get a sense of what these newish hotel entrepreneurs were trying to create in their partnership with Accor.Great points: Amazing shower!Warm and invitingExcellent business meet and greet area ( I used this everyday)Good service (if not a little arrogant)Great design aesthetic Not so good:They don't clean your room unless you ask (and you have to do it by a certain time)The carpet is FILTHY - and I mean FILTHY. This clearly highlights that its a party hotel geared toward a certain demographic but dear God its rank. Situated next to a bad part of town. Stinks of urine. Riddled with graffiti. Lots of African men in groups huddled about looking like they will pounce at any point. No gym - just a saunaWould I stay here again? Maybe, but I can't see myself going back to Zurich soon. Would I recommend it? Having a Stag do or a Hens Weekend then yes, take the team and go! Couples over 35? Maybe something else might appeal. Mareike Klein, Other at 25hours Hotel Zurich Langstrasse, responded to this review Thank you for your detailed and thoughtful review. We appreciate you taking the time to share both what you enjoyed and what you felt could be improved. We’re glad to hear that you appreciated the design, atmosphere, shower experience, and the business and social spaces, as well as the service provided by our team. It’s great to know these elements supported your stay.We also take your concerns seriously. Our housekeeping concept is designed to be flexible and environmentally conscious, which is why daily cleaning is provided upon request. That said, we agree this should be clearly explained at check-in, and we regret if this caused any inconvenience. Your comments regarding the condition of the carpet have been shared with our housekeeping and maintenance teams for immediate review.Regarding the neighbourhood, we understand that Zurich’s Langstrasse area can feel lively and unconventional. It is a diverse, central district known for its nightlife, culture, and urban character, and while it may not suit everyone, it is considered safe and well connected. We’re sorry if the surroundings made you uncomfortable during your stay. For wellness, we do have a small gym in addition to the sauna, and our team is always happy to guide guests to nearby fitness or wellness options. We appreciate your honest perspective and your understanding of our hotel’s concept as a vibrant, social space. Your feedback helps us better communicate what guests can expect and how we can continue improving. Thank you again for staying with us.
