    I visited Zurich in July 2025 for 2025 Women's Euro football tournament. Since hotels were a bit pricey, we chose to stay outside the city centre at Hotel Spirgarten. We were beyond satisfied with our 4 night stay. The hotel was right in front of a tram stop and a 10 minute walk from a train stop, so we had no issues getting into the heart of Zurich and in an around Switzerland in general. The hotel was perfect for me and my travel companion. We ate breakfast at the hotel every morning and were very satisfied with the buffet spread. I would stay here again.I would like to add - I left my sunglasses at the hotel and the hotel team so graciously shipped them back to me in the United States. I want to specifically thank the Front Office Manager, Rico Gadient, in his efforts to return my belongings.

    Wonderful hotel away from city center

    This hotel is situated within a square opposite a tram stop. The square also contains two coffee shops, a small grocery and a pharmacy. The hotel itself was very comfortable, clean and spacious. There is also an onsite restaurant. The staff was very friendly and checkin was easy. And the shower is FANTASTIC. I could have stayed in there all day 😉

    I’ve stayed here multiple times as I have family who live close by.Always immaculately clean, beds are comfortable, enough storage space, windows are very thick so keeps noise out, shower is greatOnly downside is sometimes there’s nobody at reception, they give you a number to call however if there’s a problem it’s difficult to fix over the phone.I will continue to stay here on my visits

    This hotel was a good alternative to the expensive ones downtown. The price was great for the newness and cleanliness. There are a few good restaurants nearby which made eating dinner convenient. The tram stops right in front of the hotel which made the 10 minute ride downtown very easy. The hotel gave us a tram pass so it was free for the three days. The breakfast was a little expensive.

    church next to the hotel rings bells from 7-22

    Service was nice during from the staff. Guaranteed high Zurich prices, the hotel is still 25min tram from the centrum, tram 24h pss will be 10chf.Biggest issue was that the air conditioning in the room was next to none, there was a large window though which made it good on a cool night, however there is a church next to the hotel that will ring the bells a lot from 7am-22pm which drove us crazy. On a hot weather probably unbearable. Also the church bells just kills it.
