    Dirty environment. Terrible reception. They charge undue amounts to your card and extort money if you sit in a capsule you didn't book. On Booking.com they advertise a 6-bed room when in reality it's a corridor of beds resembling a concentration camp. The main window of the corridor has pigeons with the potential to transmit disease. Poor shower. Wi-Fi is not working.

    I stayed at the Green Marmot March 14-15, 2025. I think I stayed in Unit 30. Not a far walk from Zurich Central. Kind of hidden and construction was going on when I arrived. Small lobby with a limited amount of seating while waiting for check in. They have a very precise check in time, as the staff person arrives to work at check-in. I was given a storage closet, very convenient to store my goods as I explored the city. My cube was comfortable...big enough for me to sit up...and I slept well. Restroom and shower were clean. I felt that this accommodation was positive as Zurich hotels are on the pricey side.

    The capsules creak, the pillows are lumpy and the shower towels they provide are hand towels. Location and price are very good, but even that,does not make up for the noisy pokey capsules, tired bathrooms, inadequate lockers and lack of staff after 22:00.

    The staff is very friendly. The hygiene is on point. The capsules are spacious and clean. There are clean towels available and also there are lockers to leave your luggage if it’s past your checkout time. The balcony is amazing and the location is fantastic. On top of everything, there is a vending machine, so you don’t have to worry about non-stop shops.

    In this hotel we have been videotaped without any prior notice or consent. We realized late that there was a camera in the room, be careful when changing clothes as there is a dressing room with curtain the same we did not see. The bathrooms are very clean and the staff was very polite and attentive. Although the price is quite high for what it is, although this is understandable due to the location as it is very central. In my opinion the price has nothing to do with the quality but it has been a new experience.
