Quaint, clean, friendly hotel with easy access to the train station, shopping, lake, and restaurants. We had a lovely stay and would return.

nicely located in old town. short distance to trams. walkable distance to train station. plenty of dining options in the area. room was very comfortable. no noise from the street. breakfast was great. Great location, noisy at night as it is in a very popular restaurant area. So bring your earplugs if you are a light sleeper. Room was small but nice. It was very hot in Zurich during our stay. I had a 3rd floor room & the air conditioning worked fine, my room was never hot. My friends’ room on the 4th floor air was not sufficient due to the awkward shape of the room. Front desk personnel were very friendly & helpful. Nice amenity, all you want cold bottled water, carbonated water & Coke Zero in an air conditioned room off the lobby. We stayed at hotel Adler for a couple days as the start to a two week family vacation in Switzerland. Rooms were clean and very nice. We loved the restaurant and breakfast as well- our kids loved the hydration station in the lounge. Front desk staff were very courteous and kind to us as we got our bearings in the country.
