    Great hotel with amazing views of Lake. We were in 5th floor with a balcony so you wake up to this wonderful vista. There’s a button by your bed to raise & lower external blinds. Rooms are cleverly designed, (see photo on their website), with all the usual amenities. Staff were friendly and there’s an outside jacuzzi near the spa.Bar is closed on Sundays but you can order elsewhere in lunch or the reception areas which have seats with views of the lake. Bus stop is right outside the hotel driveway and is a pleasant 15 or 20 minute meander into the old town. The hotel’s residential setting is very peaceful. We were there when a wedding was taking place but the hotel ball room seemed very well soundproofed but best to head for the upper floors just to be safe. Breakfast area again has super views and food was good. Only negative was no air conditioning. That meant when it was hot you left your balcony door open. This works well with to “buts”. A) you need all the other guests on their balconies to behave & B) the weather changed during our four day stay from glorious sunshine to heavy rain and that brought mosquitos up from the lake. There’s also a super restaurant right next door called Moosegg, great food & very friendly people. Lovely area to walk around with nearby park.All in all a great hotel stay.     Outstanding hotel with amazing views of the beautiful Lake

    We recently visited family in Zurich who recommended the property as they live near by . The positives ; Location , close to bus link to city , approx 20 mins . Excellent restaurant Moosegg next to hotel. Reception, Check in and Checkout was very efficient. Especially Aisha Giger who printed out our boarding passes and prepared our final bill. The room, on the 5th floor was well laid out with a nice balcony and outstanding views of the lake. There was a fabulous walk in shower. Breakfast , was excellent with an amazing buffet .You could also order fresh omelettes which were very good . An added bonus was they served a lovely Prosecco. The service was also excellent especially Jubi . The Bar , had a fab atmosphere with good service.The Spa , was very relaxing with an amazing outdoor Jacuzzi . Fluffy dressing gowns and slippers are provided in your room .The one negative is there is no air conditioning in the rooms which means on hot nights you need to leave the balcony door open. We experienced mosquitos. So you need repellant spray . In summary we would truly recommend this hotel and for sure would stay there again .
