  "Good Hotel, Terrible Post-Stay Support — Avoid for Business Travel

  Great location, but do not rely on this hotel for business travelStayed April 19–23, 2025. The hotel itself was fine: good location in Zurich city center, decent room, good food, fair pricing. Nothing exceptional, but nothing to complain about during the stay itself.What has become a genuine problem is the complete inability to obtain an invoice after checkout. I was told at checkout that my receipt would be emailed to me. It was not. I need this document to close out a business expense report.In the days since checkout I have called the hotel's listed numbers between 5 and 10 times per day during their stated business hours, which requires me to call at difficult hours from the US East Coast. No one answers. There is no voicemail. I have sent multiple emails as well. No response to any of them.I then contacted Adagio central customer support, hoping they could intervene. They told me to contact the hotel directly. The same hotel that does not answer its phone or respond to email.This is not an inconvenience. It is a failure of basic business operations. A hotel that accepts corporate guests and cannot provide a receipt, answer a phone, respond to email, or escalate through its own support structure should not be marketing itself to business travelers. I am now pursuing other channels to resolve this, and I am leaving this review so other business travelers know what to expect before they book.

  Decent hotel in Zurich

  Stayed here for 2 nights. Clean room. Location okay. About a 7 minute walk to Zurich HB. They have a complimentary water dispenser and coffee machine in the lobby.

  This was hotel one on our trip around Switzerland, Italy and France. Ideally located from Zurich HB around a 6 minute walk.The hotel is great with a bar and restaurant located on it, but is in walking distance of the bars and restaurants that Zurich has to offer.The room was excellent, clean and tidy, also had a nice door that opened to a julienne style balcony.Would definitely use again when travelling back to Zurich

  Shockingly poor standards of cleanliness

  Upon entering our room it quickly became apparent the toilet had not been flushed and cleaned. There was excrement in the basin.Whilst we were moved to a superior room and given free breakfasts this left a terrible lasting impression of the hotel given ghe expensive cost of accommodation. To make matters worse a lady argued with us about the breakfasts before admitting that she wasn't aware of the situation. It seems staff are poorly trained.On a positive note the reception team were super empathetic and worked hard to resolve the situation the best they could. The breakfast was good and the room we were eventually given was also although it could do with a phone.

  Cramped rooms, unfriendly staff

  It’s a weird hotel, they manage several brands from the same front desk staff. The people working the desk were unfriendly and unhelpful. They didn’t have the room type we reserved available and didn’t really seem to care. Put us in a tiny room right off the elevator (very loud). I was supposed to stay 3 nights but checked out after the first night.
