    Lacking some basic necessities

    This was only a brief overnight stop for us so initially I thought it was small but well equipped, until we went to bed and realised that our double bed only had what appeared to be a single duvet sideways, completely insufficient to sleep under especially if you're over 6' tall like my husband! Also only one towel in the bathroom.

    Lovely girl on reception and location handy for visiting the City. However a very small bedroom with no air conditioning and felt like trying to sleep in a Sauna.

    NO BREAKFAST AT THIS HOTEL

    This hotel no longer offers breakfast. In fact the hotel where I assume breakfast would have been taken is closed.There is also no mini bar. There’s a Nespresso pod machine at reception but no milk.We had a room on the 4th floor and for whatever reason our fridge locked from the inside. When we looked closer there was a key hole on the outside of the fridge, only problem was housekeeping and reception didn’t know where the key was. The room was clean and warm and the bed was comfortable. The pillows were terrible. They were feather and too soft and just collapsed when one placed their head on it.The location was great and close to public transport.

    This was our second visit this year (and about the 4th overall). We happened to stay during the Tailor Swift weekend in Zurich and reasonably priced hotel rooms were a rarity. We were able to snag a small double room (probably due to a cancellation as the hotel was fully booked when we looked earlier) on their homepage. Check-in was a breeze.We got one of the smaller (or smallest?) double rooms where the three of us (including our dog - the hotel is very dog friendly) just about found our space. The bathroom was also on the small side, but overall it was clean and cozy and did the trick for us. The proximity to the lake and its park was greatly appreciated by our dog for the early morning walk.The breakfast offering is buffet-style with eggs prepared to order. The offering is good in terms of quality and quantity.Even if it was a bit pricier than during our other stays (thanks to Taylor Swift), we were again happy with our stay and sad to hear that, according to the receptionist, the hotel would close in fall this year. Zurich looses a charming and reliable place to rest your head.

    I am a regular user of this charming ans well-run hotel. Personal service, rooms with subtle and comfortable style. Sad the restaurant has to close but otherwise, pretty spot on. Well done! And thank you for looking after your guests so warmly.
