    Excellent hotel, staff absolutely professional & extremely helpful & very polite. The reception & breakfast area is beautiful, the choice of breakfast is very good. If you’re a smoker they have a lovely smoking room. I would recommend this hotel 100%.

    Just perfect.I stayed in Hotel Illuster from 20th to 22nd July 2025 in a Superior Room. As soon as I booked my stay online, the hotel sent me an email with a link to check-in online in case I wanted to expedite that process. The link worked and the steps were trouble free and expeditious.The hotel was easy to find. The parking was easy to access. Location is excellent: well connected to Zürich, close to Uster’s central bus station, Coop and Migros supermarkets around the corner (Coop in the station is open on Sundays).Upon arrival I was allocated on the top floor (8th floor). The room was clean, furbished with a modern and functional style. It had everything I could need: extra duvet, hair dryer, small fridge… The water pressure and temperature were excellent. The air conditioner/heating was silent and worked well. The balcony had seats to enjoy the fresh air and the beautiful views. Good free wifi for standard use.Breakfast includes every first quality option one may need: cheese selection, egg selection, warm and cold meat products, fruit selection, yogurts, coffee and tea selection, juices, bread selection, etc…Check out can also be done online. The hotel will automatically send you an email with a dedicated link.Staff is friendly, very polite and helpful.Good quality/price. I can only recommend.

    We had a great 2 nights stay at Hotel Illuster and would highly recommend to anyone who comes to Uster, either with business or for pleasure. The bed is super comfy, the room nicely sized and furnished, and the breakfast delicious. There are only 2 inconvenients - the bathroom is quite small and there is no A/C. Otherwise, everything was 5 stars quality.

    Stayed here in 2020 and a return 2 years later did not disappoint….. great hotel, great food and great staff. It’s a good advocate for Swiss efficiency and you wouldn’t be disappointed. Well done!The Turkish pizza cafe directly opposite the hotel is a 60 second walk and worth visiting too.     Polite staff and relaxing hotel

    Stayed here on a 2 week business trip. I had the luxury of being on the top floor which was quiet and offered a great view of the surroundings. The hotel is central and a 3 minute walk from the train station and bus station. Trust me, you wouldn’t even know they were there. It’s sedate.Each room has a balcony with storm shutters which gives you the added privacy and ability to sit outside ( if you are a smoker or simply want fresh air). The shutters allow protection from the elements ( storms a plenty during my trip).Breakfast offers a great variety of choices and it’s tranquil and peaceful with the breakfast room overlooking the roof garden.Uster is a little gem of a place with easy access to Zürich or Uster itself provides plenty of cafes and restaurants if you want to stay local.A river walk down to the Greifensee is well worth it especially as the route takes you through a cattle farm as when I was there, lots of calfs had been born. illuster8610, General Manager at HOTEL illuster - Urban & Local, responded to this review Dear Spandau45,it's great to read that you had an overwhelming experience during your time and stay in Uster.
