    The room was too small for four people and felt quite cramped. There were also several maintenance issues during our stay. The fridge had an unpleasant smell and was not working properly — our ice cream melted completely. The dustbin was missing its cover, and the bedside lamp holder was loose and seemed like it could break easily with slight force. The duvet provided was small for the double bed. In addition, the bathroom only had a glass pull door, which offered very little privacy.Overall, these issues affected our comfort and stay experience.

    A Regretful Experience – Lacking Basic Customer CareI rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with My Home Zurich left me genuinely disappointed. From the start, the communication felt cold and impersonal. Rather than trying to understand my situation, the staff responded with rigidity and a lack of basic courtesy.I fully acknowledged that the mistake in the booking was mine — and I wasn’t expecting miracles — but some level of flexibility or empathy would’ve made a big difference. Instead, I was met with a flat refusal, full cancellation charges, and a clear message: “we’re not here to help.”Sadly, this kind of attitude overshadows any benefit the hotel might offer. There are many places in Zurich where guests are treated with kindness and understanding. I strongly suggest looking elsewhere if you value respectful service and peace of mind.
