    A lovely comfortable, relaxing stay with lots of choices for dining close by

    We booked a superior double room which was very spacious with a couch, armchair and walk in shower. A corner room on a main pedestrianised thoroughfare, we thought it would be noisy, but the windows were soundproof and we slept well. The service from the front desk staff was excellent. The room had a coffee machine but no kettle and some maintenance is needed for the WC flush. Breakfast was adequate although not a huge range. The location was excellent for eating out, shopping and a short 5 minute walk to the train station. It was a quiet, comfortable, relaxing stay for the end of our 5 week European trip. We found the people of Winterthur to be friendly and helpful. It is a great alternative to staying in Zurich as the train is direct to the airport in around 15 minutes.

    Awful. Prepare yourself to be locked out if you decide to arrive to your hotel after 10pm. Some keys simply don’t work and there’s no phone to call for emergencies. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Also rude staff

    Our first time in Winterhur, so we did not know what to expect. The hotel is very well located - coming out of the front you are surrounded by shops and restaurants, and the train station is about 5-10minutes away. The rooms were nice - bed comfortable, and they have a pillow menu as well. The bathrooms are big, with toiletries from RITUALS. They leave little wafer sticks on your bed daily. There's a Nespresso coffee maker as well as a kettle for tea.Breakfast buffet is quite good as well, with mostly, if not all, food items of organic origin. The worst thing about this place is that it's a little hard to locate if you're driving there, as it's located in a pedestrian only area. But that's about it! There's a parking garage that the hotel uses but it's located BEFORE the hotel so after you've unloaded all your luggage, you have to circle back to the parking garage which is just a few steps before the hotel.

    Great location in the city center, might be a challenge with Parking.Lovely rooms, well appointed, modern.Breakfast was a highlight with super friendly and helpful service going out of their way to helpWe felt that the hotel was just perfect for us, stayed for 5 nights and are considing to come back

    Stayed for 3 nights on a business trip. Pleasantly surprised, good hotel, good room, good shower, good restaurant and friendly staff. They answered all my questions immediately before arrival.Location is 5 min walk from the train station. 15-20min train to Zurich airport. Lots of restaurants nearby in lively Winterthur. Above my expectation for a 3 star hotel. Note there is reception during the evenings
