Location

This city and conference hotel is located 3 km from the centre of Zurich and public transport services depart from stops 200 m from the hotel. Lake Zurich with its magnificent sandy beaches as well as scores of restaurants, bars and a nightclub are all close at hand. Zurich airport is approximately 12 km away.

Facility

The hotel was built in 1900. Guests have a choice of 66 non-smoking rooms located in a 5-storey main building and a 6-storey auxiliary building. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Guests receive a welcome drink upon arrival. Amenities include a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. 2 lifts and wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. Souvenirs can be purchased at the gift shop. For lunch, guests can choose between à la carte and a set menu. Dinner is served as à la carte.     We checked in promptly, but unfortunately, the experience quickly deteriorated. One of our family members started showering, only to discover the toilet could not flush. While a plumber was sent, he could not communicate in English, which made the situation more frustrating. I had to go down to the lobby myself to clarify the situation. The pillow was also far too soft. Under normal circumstances, I would have asked for a firmer one, but given the overall poor experience, I chose to just take it for the night.What stood out most was the overall lack of engagement and poor attitude from the staff. It felt like even the most basic requests were a burden to them. The breakfast was quite OK, even though there was only one lady working. We are unlikely to recommend this hotel to our family and friends.     Lovey hotel in outskirts of Zurich city

    We really enjoyed staying at this hotel, it was stylish comfortable. We stayed in a room in the newer part of the hotel overlooking the lake. The room was really comfortable & sitting out on the balcony with a coffee in the morning looking out over the lake in the distance was lovely. Breakfast was really good quality, we ordered once to the room and down once, both were great. I enjoyed the addition of buzz fizz down at the restaurant. The hotel is approx 20 mins down to town on the tram but we enjoyed taking this down and the trams were like every 10 mins and the station a pleasant 3 min walk from the hotel. If we came back to Zurich, I would stay here.     Couldn't have been better - just outstanding in all aspects!

    The service, food and location was outstanding! We had a separate room for our family event. Everthing was very well prepared. Nice atmosphere. The view from the terrace is beautiful: the lake, the hills, the mountains and the city of Zurich - amazing. The building itself and the surroundings are beautiful. The food was very delicious, served in a very appealing way and all served at the same time. Our waiter Denis was fantastic. He has the right balance between great interaction with the people, awesome humor and superb professionalism. No wishes were left open. Many thanks to the entire team for this fantastic evening, you did an amazing job!     I can’t recommend this hotel enough. Beautiful surroundings, friendly and helpful staff, excellent food and probably the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. The whole place is serene and peaceful with a beautiful forest to go walking in. The breakfast was absolutely delicious with a whole range of fresh options. They also have a real emphasis on sustainability which is always a huge plus. Despite not being in the centre of town it’s very well connected and easy to travel into town.     Overrated hotel with a great view

    The room was nice but for a four star hotel rather small--basically nearly no room to do pushups on the floor. The food is not good enough for a four star hotel. The fruit was totally unripe. The dishes are not well presented. The viewl, though, is exceptional over Lake Zürich and into the Alps of Glarus.
