  Usually the reception will have nobody. So if u checked out and left your luggage at the lobby, there'll be no one looking after them. We spoke to the staff and they mentioned there is cctv recording. Better to check out and leave instead of leaving luggage unattended as they do not have a room to lock up the luggages.Laundry is at another location few doors down the same street, walkable. Not sure how it works. But laundry detergent is sold at sgd $1. I didn't use the washing machines.Free flow of white bread 24/7. There is only strawberry jam. But there are other choices of spread like peanut and chocolate at another location few doors down. Total there are 3 of the same name along the street.The bread were found to have flies on 2 of the 3 mornings we went. Eat at your own risk. This is mainly due to other users who didn't cover the bread properly after takin g the bread. Coffee is also available.In room there is electric kettle for boiling water. My room is a 2 double bedder. So I get 4 bottled water every day, replenished in the fridge. I'm provided with Chinese xiang pian tea sachets and paper cups. Not so environmentally friendly.Two double beds facing different directions. Spacious. Clean overall. Blinds work well. Bathtub in the spacious bathroom too. Hangers and a place to hang clothes is available. Not in a cabinet. It's open concept. More for airing of clothes purpose.

  Provides free self service laundry facility and weighing scale for luggages. Something most families would be happy with. Room was clean and large enough. Location is good which is within a short walking distance to Ximending centre. The only setback is no cabinet provided for guests. I'll recommend this hotel to others.   I visited this hotel in january this year and i think it is an ok place to stay when you are visiting Taipei cause it is very central and not that far away from the Ximen Subway station,shopping and restaurants with all kind of food.Try the nearby seafood restaurant by the way..it is very authentic chinese!Over all this is an good option if you are going to visit Taipei!   Hotel is located opposite Ximen Elementary School, a short walk from Ximending night market and 10 minutes walk from Ximen train station. Convenience stores and food kiosks are littered every corner so there is no worries about going hungry or running out of necessities late in the night. Woolloomooloo and Ximen Beer Bar just down the road so it's fairly easy to stumble back to base in a drunken stupor. Room is clean and comfortable. Not much noise pollution even though it's facing the main Chengdu road. Necessities are provided. Hotel owns a laundromat but it's self-service and just two shop houses away. My only gripe is the dingy lobby and corridor, which smelt like vinegar throughout my entire stay. Right next to the lifts is the fire exit, a perfect filming location for Hong Kong horror film enthusiasts; venture at your own risk, you have been warned! Other than serving as a picturesque backdrop for capturing/be captured by spirits it serves no other purpose because trash is stored at ground level, obstructing exit.   It's been more than 7yrs I had been to Taipei. The hotel is not bad.At first I tot it may be too small as I know Taiwan have lots of hotel. But this one surprise me.It's quite big.
