    Avoid at all Costs!!!!

    I cannot recommend this hotel at all, it is not what the pictures represent. Reviews are not accurate. This is a very average hotel, it has a very poor lobby, no restaurant or bar. Its over priced so shop around you will find a better hotel. The staff also left a lot to be desired, not helpful or nice. Breakfast was very poor, worst we had in Taiwan.

    I found hotels in Taipei to be almost impenetrable so I figured that going below the 5-star tier was going to be a leap of faith. Rest assured, for the price of 1-2 nights at one of the luxury hotels, you can get pretty much everything here at ArTree for a full week. Very large modern room and sufficient breakfast. Location is very good being close to transport on one side and then being connected to a food court and traditional market right behind it. Definitely a less touristy area but not something I would brand as quiet.My gripes are minor. The desk chair wasn't comfortable at all. The gym didn't open until 7 am or something. Also, the pipes are loud when other units use water. I saw another review mention road noise but I'm a light sleeper and was facing the road and didn't think it was a problem at all.

    Dangerous place to stay!

    Horrifying experience at the place. My mom fell at hotel hall. It's heavy raining day and there is no anti-slip mat or carpet on the marble floor. She was bleeding badly at the spot and the hotel just called emergency services and then left us on our own. We are fornigniers traveling to Taiwan without any local friend/family. I felt so scary and we were at ER alone for the night. In the next morning, when I asked (yes I have to ask!) to speak to the manager regarding the incident, I was told that the manger is off for the next couple of days and no one provide any care or ask for my mom's condition. The hotel has no safety measure and doesn't care about their customer's injury condition at all. This definitely going to be a lawsuit to be fileld.

    The worst hotel experience ever

    Horrible horrible hotel. The concept is cool but room was old, carpet stained and I woke up in the middle of the night to use the restroom and a tiny sharp metal object stuck me in the boot I’m of my foot. Furthermore, the front desk service is the worst I’ve ever seen. Linus especially was rude and inconsiderate. He wanted to charge me a $200 deposit to use an umbrella on an extremely rainy day. No concession on a late check out as well. Very bad attitude. I would never stay at this hotel in 1 million years. Avoid this like the plague.

    Beautiful hotel in Taipei

    The hotel it’s very beautiful, I live the decoration and theme of the hotel, since the arrival the fragrance in the ambiance it’s amazing and overall all the hotel it’s gorgeous. The breakfast it’s delicious, try the noodles and the Taiwanese omelette. The service of the waiters it’s excellent, they are very kind and attentive. You have a very good hostess named Sylvia, she is super kind and attentive, she is a gem in your team. Also Sandra at the reception was very attentive and helpful with the information requested. I live this hotel and for sure I will stay here again.
