  Good location, clean room, good Housekeeping. Resting area for free coffee and tea while waiting driver to send us to airport. Will come back to this hotel again.

  Hotel Relax 11054897388My stay at Hotel Relax 1 was unfortunately the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had.The cleanliness was a major issue throughout. The toilet was in a horrible state and clearly not maintained properly, which made it very uncomfortable to use. The room itself was also not very clean, and to make matters worse, I encountered cockroaches during my stay.Security was another concern. The building is shared with other occupants, and there didn’t seem to be any proper control or measures in place, which made the environment feel unsafe. On top of that, the room door sometimes could not be closed securely, which only added to the concern.I also find it questionable that there are many 5 star reviews, as it seems they may be influenced by the offer of free gifts rather than actual experience.Overall, I would not recommend this hotel due to the poor hygiene standards, lack of security, and overall unpleasant stay.

  Could have been better.

  What we liked.On the plus side this hotel is in a great location, conveniently located a short walking distance from Taipei main train and bus stations. The room is a good size, as we stayed here at the back end of our holiday and had four full size suitcases and two backpacks, this was ideal. There are shopping and eating choices galore right outside. The staff that we interacted with were always friendly and happy to help. There is a nice little lounge area off to the side of the reception where you can sit and relax, with a coffee and tea making facilities. There is a washing machine and dryer available for use for a small fee. There is no iron but we were able to borrow a steamer.What we didn't like.I would like to preface this section by noting that I was asked on multiple occasions by the staff to give the hotel a 5 star review online in exchange for a "free" gift. I honestly can't give such a review for the following reasons. Now, before I detail these reasons I have to say that they relate to the room we stayed in only, from memory it was 1110, hopefully other rooms are better. There is a dangerously high step up from the main room to the bathroom (see attached photo with water bottle for reference) with no warning sign. I would estimate the step up to be around 30cm! The shower screen leaked and we had to put towels on the floor. There were cracked tiles on the walls. The popup waste in the basin didn't work due to not being installed properly. Also, cracking in the ceiling. To be able to get a good night sleep we needed to wear an eye mask as the blinds over the windows didn't adequately block the outside light. The aircon was also quite loud so we couldn't use it at night, and couldn't open the windows due to street noise. Also, there was no wardrobe only a small amount of hanging space above the coffee and tea making facilities.

  Not far from Taipei Main Station. Good location. Big family room. Nice and clean. Friendly staff. The hotel provides free drinking coupon for each room. On the 11th floor, there is a coffee making machine that you can get coffee for free. Olso a washing machine and a drying machine to use for 50 NTD each. There are many restaurants near the hotel. 5 minutes walk to National Taiwan Museum and nice park. Covenient shops, 7 eleven, family mart. Reccommend to stay at this hotel.

  Nice room , clean , relaxing,cool ,good sleeping at all , have a good pillows,it’s so convenient place to stay ,a lot of store outside like convenient store,restaurants, restaurants,near the station,easy to access everything,near in the park.
