  Great new addition to the Marriott portfolio

  Love this new addition to the Marriott portfolio! I had a deluxe double twin with tons of light via floor-to-ceiling windows. The room was very clean and quiet with a great layout - chez lounge, desk, sizable lobby area and well-organized bathroom with both bath and shower. Although most of our view from the 6th floor was buildings, you could peak around them to get a view of the hustle and bustle down below, and there was a slice of 101 which is always nice. The staff was incredibly helpful, including a recommendation for where to buy a quality-but-budget suitcase as I'd accumulated too many things during my travel. It's a little outside my price range but if I splurge again for a night on a business trip I'll definitely be back.

  A lot to like. But won’t be back.

  There’s a lot to like here. Modern clean , well thought out rooms. A very good location. I had one room service meal, very good. And really excellent staff, everyone is pleasant , happy and helpful. The doormen really go out of their way to help visitors with taxis etc. Bonvoy members will know the issues with tribute portfolio and breakfasts etc, so I didn’t eat breakfast here ( I like the points!) so can’t comment on that. One really poor thing though took the shine off my stay. I was waiting for some colleagues to arrive so we could have a drink and decide on where to eat. I was ten mins early so decided to wait in the lobby bar, maybe we would start there. When I sat down and was presented with a menu, I advised that I was waiting for someone and could please just have a glass of water. I was told , politely, that I could not do that as the lobby bar has a minimum charge .Wow, a hotel guest, staying 4 nights being told that in a lobby bar!!!!? That’s VERY poor. So overall good hotel, but management at these places really do make some strange decisions. And despite the really lovely staff, that issue means I won’t be back. Stayed 4 nights. Marriott platinum member.

  Great hotel in Taipei !

  Excellent , modern hotel located in a more affluent part of Taipei City . Easy to walk to cafes , restaurants and of course Family Mart and 7/11. Modern rooms with comfortable beds, fantastic bathrooms with Japanese toilets and nice bedding . The breakfast spread is terrific with a lot of Chinese and western options . Plant based options as well which is very important to us !! Staff is friendly and very helpful . Highly recommend !

  We would definitely stay at the Madison Hotel, Taipei in the future. Friendly welcome (by Ian Chen) + consistently clean room + optimal customer service + great location = "Must Stay" on future trips to TaipeiFront Desk Set the Tone:Front desk associate Ian Chen as the initial customer facing associate kicked things off right. During our Jan 5-9, 2026 stay, whether we were leaving or returning to the hotel, his greetings made us feel at home. We were also very surprised when Ian initiated a surprised (and early…by 4 days) birthday gift for me. It was a gesture that the hotel need not have done but the staff took that extra step to indulge us and show gratitude. Unique Breakfast Settings:Madison Hotel’s breakfast service was a wonderful way to start the day. The daily menu, which changes from day to day, allowed for us to select unique Taiwanese dishes and western ones.Where else would one get “stewed pork & truffle wrapped in a clay-ovened roll,” “Hisnchu braised pork and meatballs & vermicelli noodle soup,” “smoked duck breast with spring onions & scrambled eggs inside a warm roll” or your classic “French toast topped with mixed berries” for breakfast?We were politely served by a tall, bespeckled young chap who knew our drink and food preferences from day one. Thank you!Immaculate Room (#809):The rooms were immaculately clean and spacious. Loved the Toto toilets, which were environmentally more friendly versus the traditional gravity pulled toilets we mostly see and use in the west. Doormen of the Year:The two doormen we met were equally friendly and attentive. It was not the services that they usually provided, eg., opening/closing doors, hailing a taxi, etc. that caught our attention. It was them proactively providing complimentary umbrellas for us even before we stepped outside and not knowing it was raining. It was them rushing to help us with our luggage from 30 meters away as we exited the elevators and loading them into the taxi. One has to be impressed with their attention to details and the focus on the customer. Our only suggestion for improvements, not that there needed to be any, was to expand the daily happy hours from its current 6-7PM to 5-7PM. Thank you, Madison Hotel Taipei!

  Nice renovated room. Breakfast serve till 10am. Offer 6-7 Free Happy Hour for guest. Situated between 2 metro station around 5 min walk. 15 min walk to Night market .
