  Great value for money, very clean. Friendly staff, they have good lockers. Shoes aren’t allowed to be worn indoor they give you slipper to be worn. 7/11, metro station and a bus station all within 3 mins walk. I didn’t use the common area so can’t says anything about that.

  If you travel solo and want to stay in a convenient location I’d recommend this hostel. No doubt it has shown some wear and tear since I stayed here 6 years ago but it’s still value for money. The comfortable mattress is in a comfortable nook with light, hanger, side table, ventilator and blind for privacy.You have a locker big enough for a medium sized luggage. You put the bedsheets and pillow cases yourself. Bath towels are available for rental at 50NTD per piece. The nook is spacious. There are ample breakfast and dining places. Try Soft Power for traditional breakfast with a modern twist, and the opposite porridge restaurant is a must! To access the hostel, come out from exit 4 of zhongxiao guo xiao mrt station and walk backwards, cross one big road and look up in the sky to locate the signboard. Some things that can be improved on : water leaking from the shower cubicles to the dry area in the shower room, power cuts off when you remove the key card from the nook so you can’t charge devices when you are showering, and the Japanese style toilets are not functioning well.

  The owners of this hostel had their designers think of everything necessary for a very comfortable hostel stay. An elevator takes you to 5th floor reception where you can check in. Womens' dorms are on that level and for men, one level up. On top floor is a very spacious and comfortable lounge with lots of comfortable seating, kitchen, lovely outdoor patio area. The washroom and shower areas are clean, with many wash basins and showers, even washers and dryers. Out front where reception is, are security lockers for guests with number codes chosen by guests for locking, so no additional personal locks are needed to be used. The dorms each have pull down shades for each bed area for privacy. There is ample room for storing luggage in each dorm. Each bed area has a long narrow table alongside the bed for putting items on for convenience and a lamp. A light free breakfast is included with stays. If that is not enough, there are many bakeries in that area as well as restaurants. On the corner of the block where the hostel is located, a bus stop is within seconds to wait for airport bus 1841, which will take you to airport within an hour, for 93 NT. You can even use your metro card to tap and pay for your ride. Can also take bus 1841 from International airport to this stop to get to hostel. Just get off at Minquan/Jilin Rd Intersection which will display as next stop in electronic read out at front of bus.

  Great Hostel and Location, Friendly staffing

  First time we stay at a hostel recommended by a friend who happens to stay near by. Never stay at a hostel and it was our first experience. Surprise! Staff was very helpful despite we arrived at midnight, showed us the bunk bed and I prefer the top - bed was clean, with nice, warm comforter, very spacious, outlet and free wifi, mirror and window with table. Each has a locker in the room, bathroom is super clean w/shampoo and hair dryer but no conditioner. We were on the 5th floor, FEMALE only, many locals staying here for biz or the weekend from the suburb. A few Japs as our room mate - some locas girl- nice otherwise would not greet you at all - but who cares. Breakfast area is nice on the rooftop. Very happy to stay here and staffing are so nice and welcome. Would come back here again and would definitely refer to others. Bus to Airport 1841 is next to hotel and MRT is 5 mins walk-Zhongsan Elementary School Exit. Food, Bakery, PX Mart is not too far. We love the location of the Hostel. So convenient! Thanks to Bxxx staff - she's wonderful. Forgot her full name. Short hair, wearing glasses.

  Not so far from the MRT station, and relatively easy to find. The bunk space is surprisingly spacious, with a mirror and a small long table that is wide enough for laptop. It's almost like a little hotel room, and like a hotel room you need to have your room card inserted in the power slot in order to turn on the power in your bunk space. This is a bit annoying when you want to chill at the lounge space upstairs while charging your phone and laptop in your bunk space. Luckily just like hotel rooms, you can work around this by simply inserting a piece paper in that power slot.Overall this was a comfortable stay. The front desk was extremely helpful and accommodating. The lounge area was really nice, although it was usually empty while I was there (apparently they had a all you can drink Taiwan Beer event, but I missed it). There is a nice cheap coffee machine, and also a free green tea machine (which was really potent). The breakfast was really underwhelming, especially considering how nice everything else was. But that's okay given the relatively reasonable room charge.
