The Gold Standard in Taipei: Consistently Excellent After 5 Years!I have been a loyal guest at The Tango Taipei Fuxing Hotel for five consecutive years, and every single stay has been nothing short of superb. This is more than just a hotel; it's a home away from home where world-class service meets genuine warmth.From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is elegant, modern, and impeccably maintained. The rooms are spacious, quiet, and feature luxurious amenities that make unwinding after a long day a true pleasure. The location is also fantastic, providing easy access to the MRT and the best of the Fuxing area.However, what truly sets this hotel apart is the phenomenal staff. Their attention to detail and ability to recognize and value repeat guests is unparalleled. During my most recent visit, I was absolutely delighted to find a personalized "Happy Birthday" light-up sign and celebratory drinks waiting for me in the room (as pictured). This thoughtful gesture went above and beyond and perfectly encapsulated the care and recognition the staff provides. It shows they don't just process reservations—they build relationships.If you are looking for a reliable, luxurious, and exceptionally service-oriented place to stay in Taipei, look no further. The Tango Taipei Fuxing has earned my five-star loyalty for five years running, and I look forward to many more visits.Highly, highly recommended!

Great hotel that is nestled in a fairly busy part of Taipei. Close to a MRT station. Rooms were nice and clean with many amenities such as tea/coffee bar, microwave, and upgraded sound system for the TV-watching experience. One room had a washer for those extended stays.Will come back!

Stayed at The Tango FuHsing Taipei twice, at the end of July and beginning of August 2021. On both ocassions I booked their Jazz Room(天爵客房). However for the first stay, I was upgraded to their Wonderful Studio(天璽客房). Both rooms were wonderful by all means, of course Wonderful Studio has a slightly upgraded feel thanks to a jacuzzi bath! These 2 types of rooms also come with washing machines + dryers, which made my stay in a hot summer Taipei very convenient, being able to deal with somewhat refreshing daily self-care laundry! In addition, although it may not be so relevant to a lot of travellers, but a microwave in the both of the rooms I stayed was a plus, as I was able to still enjoy the inclusive breakfast hot after I wanted to eat it later than my requested delivery time, handy for reheating take away meals during my stay too! The staff were professional and helpful. The housekeeping was efficient, highly hygienic (especially under the current Covid times) and never intrusive, being flexible with your chosen cleaning time. They replenished the free mini-bar daily, including the coffee machine capsules! The Tango FuHsing is located in the business area of Taipei, so it's very convenient for business travellers but also good for non-business solo traveller like myself on these occasions. There are plenty of local eateries, convenient stores and shopping venues. I've always trusted The Tango Hotels Taiwan as my go-to choice for boutique hotels in Taiwan, and these two stays with The Tango FuHsing not only reached the normal 'Tango standard' as the other Tango hotels I stayed in, but actually exceeded my expectations. Thank you The Tango FuHsing and naturally, I'd highly recommend!

We stayed at the Tango, FuHsing Road Taipei location at the beginning of December for nine nights. Highly recommended for the following reasons:- Very close to a MRT subway station.- Lots of bakeries, coffee shops, convenience stores and restaurants nearby.- Good breakfast and afternoon snacks at the hotel.- Comfortable bed and nice bathroom.- Outstanding service, professional and friendly staff.The staff did a great job in helping to ensure everything went well with our stay.We found an issue with the shower head in the bathroom, contacted the front desk staff and spoke with Chris. He immediately brought up a new shower head and installed it. Later that day and the next, Chris followed up to ensure everything was fixed to our satisfaction. Every time Chris saw us, he always came up and asked how our stay was going and if there was anything he could do for us.Our stay included free breakfast and afternoon snacks. The breakfast buffet was different each day. We enjoyed the variety and quality of the food. The coffee was superb and the staff was very attentive and friendly.We also enjoyed visiting the hotel dining area in the afternoons for coffee, tea, fruit and cheesecake. The cheesecake was delicious.Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Tango FuHsing. Thanks to Chris and the rest of the staff for their professional, friendly, outstanding service.We intend to stay at the Tango FuHsing location every time we visit Taipei. The location is hard to beat.

I think the initial aim of this hotel was to deliver something exceptional. Although it’s not a 6 star hotel, there are a lot of features: washing machine in the balcony, nice stereo system (5 speakers in the room which was great for movies,) electrical curtains, 3 TVs (one in the bathroom!), microwave oven, a shower and bathtub, Japanese style automatic toilets. All that were ruined by poor management. Room is dirty, stains on the walls, lots of dust on the table, mildew everywhere in the shower. This is not just a coincidental housekeeping slack in one room as I requested to switch room but the same problems found. My husband stayed in this hotel few years ago, and swore it was nice and clean. Wonder if this is due to change of management or change of housekeeping team. What a shame.
