overpriced small room with no window in standard room

    rating30 Apr 2026

Booked a standard room for 6 nights in May which says it has a window for my son. The window is in bathroom only! Tiny long slim room and completely overpaid for this. Rate was locked in a few days beforehand and I should have done more research into what the normal rate was as prices hiked up.. I wouldn't recommend it unless getting a low rate so check carefully.. Location is good for getting around but that's all unfortunately.

Stay Away from Airline Inn Ximen – "A Safety Hazard"

    rating09 Jun 2025

Stay Away from Airline Inn Ximen – "A Safety Hazard"We stayed at Airline Inn Ximen from June 1 to June 5, 2025, and while things started off promisingly—clean rooms, polite housekeeping, and an unbeatable location right at Ximen MRT Exit 2—the experience ended in a frightening and utterly unacceptable "disaster" that made one thing crystal clear: we will NEVER return.🚨 Life-Safety NightmareOn the morning of June 5, around +/- 4:30a.m., an alarm suddenly went off. Strangely, only two short announcements were made in Mandarin—nothing in English or any other language. Non-Mandarin speaking guests were left completely confused, probably wondering what the alarm is for, a fire or earthquake? There was no further follow-up, no instructions, and no reassurance from the inn and or building management.Evacuating via the stairwell became a real horror. We were shocked to find multiple floors blocked with piles of cement bags, broken glass, chairs, and construction debris. This is not just a violation of basic safety standards—this is a serious emergency (e.g. fire) hazard that puts lives at risk.❓ Untrained & Aggressive Front DeskWhen we reached the front desk, one staff member assured us he had checked all floors and found no fire. When asked if emergency services were called or if a trained fire response team was present, he was clearly unsure and unprepared. He eventually disappeared from the desk without offering guests clarity. Then things went from bad to worse.Another staff in a black jacket took over and responded to guest concerns with hostility and aggression. When we pointed out that incomplete sweeps or missed hazards could cost lives—not to mention destroy the inn’s reputation—he raised his voice, accusing of "threatening" him and we are free to call the police. This man should never be guest-facing, let alone be the first point of contact during a life-threatening emergency.✅ What Was Good> Rooms were clean.> Housekeeping was polite and helpful.> Location is unbeatable, right at the heart of Ximen with direct MRT access.❌ What Was Absolutely Unforgivable> Inadequate multilingual emergency announcements> Blocked evacuation routes full of hazards (construction materials, broken glass, chairs)> No visible or trained emergency response team> Front desk staff who were unprepared, evasive, and verbally aggressive> No follow-up, apology and or update for the situation🔥 Final Verdict: Avoid at All CostsNo matter how convenient the location or how clean the room, safety is non-negotiable. The inn clearly lacks proper emergency protocols, crisis communication, and guest safety planning. That terrifying early morning incident could have easily turned tragic. We are NEVER returning!

    rating20 Nov 2024

Thanks Vivian, you wrecked my holiday and cost me money.Even though you agreed it was an error by the agent that you used, you refused to provide a refund.I would warn travellers to be careful here, there is confusion between Xiemen Airline Hotel and Airline Inn

    Disturbance

    rating17 Nov 2024

I lodged a serious complaint about very bad disturbance at 8th floor due to the non-stop hammering from above tenant (restaurant) at around 2300hrs, 4 Nov 24. Hotel receptionist claimed they have asked the tenant's renovation contractor to stop three times, but to no avail.Hotel receptionist apologised and said there was nothing he could do. This is absolutely unacceptable for a stay in Ximen Airline Hotel. They resolutely claimed it is not their fault and for guests to bear with it.I lodged a police complaint before they stopped the renovation in wee hours.

Very near to Ximending main street

    rating30 Oct 2023

    - Entrance lift to the hotel is shared at an old building- Location is 1-2mins walk from ximending street, good to get breakfast or late night snack too.- The staff are dressed as pilots and cabin crew, quite fun to look at.- The room are normal and only some rooms are specially designed to look at the cabin of an aeroplane.
