    The staff was full of big bright smiles. They were more than happy to help. Laughter and happiness fills Casa Beach Motel. Super clean. We were fed so good. Rooms were perfect for a beach vacation.

    Clean comfortable room with air con or fan. Staff friendly. WiFi was good. Right on the beach so good location. My only criticism was the food, which was standard fayre and over large portions but not very tasty and veg not as fresh as I’d have liked. There was plenty of choice outside the hotel though.

    Casa Beach Hotel, Jambiani, Zanzibar;Jambiani was, for us, our only mis-step on our 3 week trip to Tanzania – it’s a very busy stretch of hotels on the shoreline, with as many rooms as possible shoehorned into each plot – Casa Beach house was the worst sort of package tour holiday destination – ranks of tiny cell-like rooms opening directly onto the main thoroughfare - and so dark that you had to have the door open, or sit inside with the light on. We’d paid for 3 nights, but fled after one night – best money I spent on the whole trip was leaving there: - that said, I’m sure some people love it.
