    Wonderful Staff and pleasant stay, but hotel rooms still need maintenance

    Staff is polite and helpful and the hotel is in a nice position facing the ocean. Drop off at the airport is punctual and reliable. It was my third stay, but unfortunately rooms still need to be updated and also some maintenance. Starting from plugs, ending with the balcony door, all is somehow neglected. But Madinat Al Bahr still remains a good hotel. And, for the next visit, I hope to see it in a better shape!     Very nice hotel, great breakfast! Rooms were big and the pool area beautiful. My son got a hotel mug before we left. That was a nice suprise. Beach in front of the hotel was lovely.     Beautiful hotel. Large hotel but warm and welcoming at the same time. Excellent beachfront setting. Exceptionally clean. Food delicious. Friendly helpful and lovely staff who were more than lovely. Beautiful pool and surroundings gardens. Good gym and spa with stunning views!! Bar with pool table and TVs (for sport if desired) and more stunning views. Very relaxed and charming hotel.Would definitely recommend and I very much hope to return.Very handy for both Stone Town tours and the airport with free transfers.
