    Luxury Redefined in Historic Stone Town

    Simply the best hotel in Stone Town, perfectly located in the heart of the city with a fantastic sunset viewpoint. Housed in a beautifully restored historic building, Park Hyatt Zanzibar seamlessly blends traditional Zanzibari charm with modern luxury. The design throughout the property is elegant, sophisticated, and truly stunning. The room was spacious and beautifully appointed, with excellent amenities and an exceptionally comfortable bed. The staff were professional, attentive, and exceptionally well-trained, consistently delivering warm and personalized hospitality that made us feel genuinely welcomed throughout our stay. A special mention goes to the staff member at the corner desk (I believe he was handling tour bookings), he was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Before we headed out, he thoughtfully provided us with Zanzibar map and offered us bottled water for the journey. It was a simple gesture, but one that reflected the genuine warmth and hospitality of this place. Unfortunately, I cannot remember his name, but he truly deserves recognition for his excellent service and positive attitude. The semi-buffet breakfast concept, complemented by an à la carte menu, offered a fantastic selection of dishes, all prepared to an excellent standard. The quality, presentation, and flavours were superb, making breakfast one of the highlights of our stay. The staff were also exceptionally warm, attentive, and helpful, further enhancing the overall dining experience. Our dining experience at Beach House Zanzibar was equally exceptional. The seafood was incredibly fresh, expertly prepared, and delicious. Combined with the beautiful setting and relaxed atmosphere, it made for a truly memorable meal.Overall, Park Hyatt Zanzibar exceeded our expectations in every way. From its magnificent heritage architecture and luxurious accommodations to its exceptional dining and impeccable service, every aspect of our stay was outstanding. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Zanzibar and look forward to returning in the future.

    I had an excellent stay at the Park Hyatt Zanzibar. The staff were outstanding—warm, professional, and always ready to help. The hotel’s beautiful blend of historic charm and modern comfort, along with its prime location in Stone Town, made the experience truly memorable. I would highly recommend it and look forward to returning.

    The Grand Hyatt is positioned right on the beach but in only a few blocks you can explore the atmospheric alleyways of Stone Town - the best of both worlds. The staff go out of their way to demonstrate hospitality, and the facilities are first class.

    Everything about this hotal disappointed. Arriving late, the front desk staff was slow, robotic and unwelcoming. My room was worn and musty and the bed was in need if replacement. The restaurants here were just awful—very slow szrvice, badly prepared food made with poor quality produce. The hotel is seaside but you’d never swim in this dirty water.all of this and Hyatt dares to charge rich world prices for a substandard experience nit worthy of Hyatt’s reputation. Give this place a niss!!!
