  Stayed here last October and service and attention to detail was amazing. Hence why we returned this January. A simple thing for an asthmatic like me was to request a pillow that was foam or synthetic. The answer I got was sorry don’t have but if you get an attack we can take you to a hospital. How absurd!Standards have dropped. I had to ask for a plate four times before I got one at breakfast. Very sad and I think it’s since the owner has died. Not a place to visit again.

  We stayed for five days. The cottages are amazing and the food was wonderful. We were only miserable because of the bees! that come in the dining hall. breakfast time. And the down sea view restaurants.

  Staff: 10 out of 10. Staff is really into it to provide the best experience possible. Our room had several issues with the power. It was fixed. They are very supportive. And they made up with extension of late check-out for more than half a day. Thumbs up, this is an excellent service.Room: We had a bungalow. The bed is decorated beautifully and is welcoming. Bath is big but not inviting. The armatures and controls of the shower were very old and ugly, rusted.The bungalow inside is poorly luminated, even with lights on it feels somehow dark.The whole area itself is beautifully decorated with palm trees, frangipani trees and nice trees and flowers. The beach is literally only a few steps out the door. Beach: The beach and the sea is beautiful. It is different than in Nungwi. Nice with green blue colors but the turquoise color missing. Water is crystal clear. Here the sea is very much affected by low and high tide. Swimming still in the morning and midday is very good possible.Breakfast:Breakfast is horrible, no buffet. A preselected fruit portion with some pan cakes, without real spreads.There is so big potential in the hotel. The area is very big the decorations outside beautiful. But the bungalow needs urgent renovation and the breakfast needs improvement.

  Really Enjoyed Our Stay

  This resort is right on the beach! We loved watching the tide ebb and flow, truly amazing colors in the water and wonderful sunsets. The bungalows have 2 rooms each that are large and well appointed. Nice hot showers, a very nice pool and a good breakfast every morning. Mr Muby and his staff are top notch. I cannot say enough positives about them, we appreciated the fine and friendly service. The resort lies near the end of a quiet lane but is an easy walk to the lively nearby village. Not far to the Jovani Forest and easy access to dolphin watching. There are a few special restaurants within easy walking distance for variety. We stayed here on the recommendation of friends an highly recommend It ourselves.
