Location

Situated right at the heart of Bangkok, there is convenient access to the hotel by car, sky train or even by boat along the San Saeb Klong River. There are also a number of shopping opportunities nearby, such as Central World, Siam Paragon and The Emporium shopping centres. For medical services, the hotel is in walking distance of Bumrungrad International Hospital. Suvarnabhumi International Airport (Bangkok) is approximately 29 km and Don Mueang International Airport about 25 km from the hotel.

Facility

19 single rooms and 5 double rooms are available to guests in a 3-storey main building and a 4-storey auxiliary building. English-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. A baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service are available. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The resort has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The resort has wheelchair-accessible facilities and a lift. A number of shops, including a souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional facilities include a library. Rooms

Air conditioning and a fan ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Most of rooms include a balcony or terrace as a standard feature. Rooms have a double bed or a king-size bed. Children's beds and extra beds can be requested for younger guests. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. For guests' convenience, units include a refrigerator, a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. Various dining options are available, including a café and a bar. Guests can indulge their palates at the non-smoking restaurant, which features air conditioning and a separate area for smokers. Bed and breakfast is offered as a catering option. A delicious breakfast is an excellent reason to rise and shine. At lunch and dinner, guests can order dishes à la carte or choose a set menu. Diet meals and children's meals can be prepared on request. The resort also offers special catering options.

    Such a special hotel in the heart of Bangkok! The hotel and our room were beautiful and very clean. Felt like a very calming space in a bustling city. The food and location were great. Most importantly, our service was exceptional— especially our waiter diamond who was so welcoming and enthusiastic. Would recommend to anyone visiting the city!

    Possibly the worst area of Bangkok

    Whilst the hotel was lovely unfortunately our stay was ruined by the area. I can’t understand the high reviews for location, this is my 3rd visit to beautiful Bangkok. The area was seedy and unsafe. It was full of western expats in seedy bars with prostitution rife day and night. It really diminished Bangkok as a city it was quite shocking and upsetting. The hotel decor is fab and the room was comfortable. But I would never stay in this area again regardless of the hotel David Lees, Owner at Ariyasom Villa, responded to this review Dear Frankie,Thanks for your review. I’m glad you liked our decor and comfortable rooms.However, I’m surprised by your reaction to our location - you make it sound like we are in “the heart of darkness” - it’s just not the case.I would categorically state that our immediate vicinity is very safe - in 33 years of living here I’ve never had a safety issues and nor have any of my family or guests. I have zero worries on that account.The hotel is located at the end of Sukhumvit Soi 1 ( side street 1) - at our end of the street it’s rather quiet and green. We border the well known canal - Klong Saen Saap - a great alternative mode of transport through the middle of Bangkok.Soi 1 is a busy ,bustling road full of people either working for or attending the internationally famous Bumrungrad Hospital - our neighbor. There are no bars on our road - a few massage places offering a foot massage.To access one of the “seedy parts” of town takes some effort- Sukhumvit Soi 4 - according to Google is an 18 minute walk away and across a very busy major road. To say that the Hotel is located in that area is a real stretch and serious misinformation.Bangkok is a huge city - estimated at 17m inhabitants - it spans a large area and is a diverse and wonderful city offering everything from the sublime to the ridiculous! Yes ,there are “seedy” areas ( as there are in every major city) but there is no need to go there or if you just happen into that area it’s easy and safe to exit.We believe that our surroundings are very safe if somewhat busy - we have easy access to all areas of the city and we are not located in one of those less desirable areas.Thanks and best regards David Lees

    Centrally located, excellent breakfast (even homemade english muffins!). Staff was very friendly an accommodating. Rooms were top- hotel is in a beautiful building. It's a nice escape from the busy streets of Bangkok.
