    I recently had a lovely stay at Bangkok City Hotel and couldn't be more pleased with the experience. The hotel is centrally located, making it incredibly convenient to visit some of the most recommended places in Bangkok.The breakfast buffet was a delightful start to each day, offering a good variety of tasty options that catered to different tastes. The quality and freshness of the food were impressive.The hotel itself is well-maintained and comfortable, providing a welcoming atmosphere for guests. The staff were friendly and always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests.Overall, Bangkok City Hotel is a fantastic choice for anyone looking to explore the city while enjoying comfortable accommodations and a great breakfast.     The Road Is on Big Construction

    I decided to select this hotel for the location as it was nearby MBK, Siam Paragon etc. However the road is on the work for (I assume) new public transportation project. So, it was uncomfortable for walking even though not too dusty.I liked the room space but the shower was weak. Cleanliness was oke. I did not take breakfast as I was not sure about halal.

    Book a family room amd my child is not feeling well as the baby is crying. Hotel staff is so uneducated to call and inform us to make the baby to be silent. Call multiple time. What is the purpose i book family room! Wifi is down too. Call front counter they say tomorrew will rectify bit still the same and atlast i buy a data for thr whole day stay for internet purpose. If u have a baby please stay away to not book this hotel. Not friendly to kids! Bad structure as the wall is thin..

    A Long-Time Guest's Disappointing ExperienceI have been a loyal patron of this hotel for over a decade, staying here multiple times a year, long before its recent renovation. On my most recent 8-day trip in March 2025, during which my six-month pregnant wife and I were staying for a medical check-up in Bangkok, I was shocked by the incredibly rude and unprofessional behavior of a senior receptionist.We had arranged for a late check-out until 4:00 PM for an additional fee. At exactly 4:01 PM, we received a call from the front desk. A receptionist, who I believe was a supervisor, began yelling at us over the phone to come downstairs immediately. While we were already prepared, we were struggling with heavy luggage and navigating the room with a pregnant woman. The receptionist's aggression continued; I heard her on the phone with housekeeping, seemingly instructing them to "force" us out.When we finally made it down to the lobby around 4:10 PM, the receptionist was visibly angry and continued to shout at us. Not only was her tone completely unacceptable, but there was also no offer of assistance with our luggage, despite the obvious difficulty we were having.After more than a dozen stays since 2010, I am deeply disappointed to have been treated with such disrespect. This was a complete failure of basic customer service and hospitality, especially given our circumstances and long history with the hotel. While I have fond memories of this hotel, this recent experience has completely soured my opinion. I will have to seriously reconsider staying here on future trips.

    Great hotel at nice location in bangkok

    I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights with family. Room is spacious and good view. There are many massage shops nearby so we had great times. Hotel is good location but difficult to get a cab because there is renovation near hotel. So, I used to take train. Train station is around 10 minutes walk and Shopping mall like Siam paragon and central world are only 1 station away. The hotel served good breakfast and no charge for my 8 year old son so I am very glad for this kind of service. Next time, I will go and stay there again.
