    Had a great 1-night staycation at Bangkok Marriott Hotel Sukhumvit in Thong Lor. Room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. What stood out most was the staff - everyone I interacted with was polite, professional, and welcoming.The facilities were excellent. The swimming pool on the 7th floor was a great place to relax, and the gym was one of the nice hotel gyms I’ve used, complete with a dry sauna, which was a nice bonus after a workout.I also enjoyed access to the executive lounge on the 40th floor. The food and drinks selection during the evening service was good, and breakfast at the main restaurant was excellent, with plenty of variety and quality options.The only thing that felt a little lacking was the personalised touch for Marriott Bonvoy Platinum Elite members. There was no welcome note, fruit platter, or small welcome amenity in the room. It’s not a major issue, but those little gestures can make loyal members feel more recognised and appreciated.Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay.     Good home base- great location, hip area and very accessible

    One of the better Marriott properties in Bangkok- amazing location and great lounge. It's located a stop or two over from the crazy/more popular areas like Asoke and Phrom Phong but there is a BTS station (with an escalator up!) a 2 minute walk away so you can venture out during the day and return to a home base in the very happening area of Thong Lor. Lots of Japanese influence around, cheap outdoor food court on Soi 38, Bamee noodles and crispy pork, Pochana 55, the best mango sticky rice (Mae Varee), the best pad thai (Hoi Tod Chawlay), GLOW coffee, etc. etc. all jus steps away. The lounge was very good, had delicious food and good service - especially by Sunday, what an awesome guy.     We spent months in this hotel during one of my husband's expat assignments. Our sons were 10 and 13 and we all have a very comfortable experience. The staff is personable and always going the extra mile. We used the Executive lounge daily and the food is fresh and balanced. The pool is on the top floor together with a spa and roof top bar. The location is ideal, one block from BTS Thonglor and we enjoyed all the sites and the amazing small family run restaurant Sit and Wonder on the corner.
