Think twice before booking this hotel!

I booked this hotel based on its 8.8 rating on Booking, but my experience was extremely disappointing. From the moment I entered the lobby, there was a strong smell of cheap perfume trying to mask something unpleasant. The hotel did not look well maintained at all.When I was shown to my room, the smell of mold and humidity was immediately noticeable. The room looked old and poorly maintained. I still decided to give it a chance and stayed for one night, but the experience only got worse. The air conditioning was incredibly noisy and excessively cold even on the lowest setting. I couldn’t sleep with it on because of the noise and freezing temperature, and I couldn’t sleep with it off because of the heat. I ended up not sleeping at all.The next morning, I informed the staff that I wanted to change hotels. I had originally booked six nights, but they completely refused any refund or compensation. I find this unacceptable, especially considering the actual condition of the hotel compared to its rating online.In my opinion, this hotel does not deserve an 8.8 rating on Booking. Please think twice before booking this place.

Perfect base for a relaxing Bangkok break

This hotel is always such a lovely place to start a Thai holiday. The location is ideal — close enough to walk to Khao San Road, but far enough away that you can still enjoy some peace and quiet when you want it.The staff are genuinely wonderful and always go above and beyond to help. This was our fourth stay, and it’s become our go‑to spot for easing ourselves into the weather, the food, and the whole Thai way of life.The pool area is really relaxing, with plenty of towels available, making it a great place to unwind after a busy day. Breakfast was lovely each morning, with plenty of choice to set you up for the day.There’s also a fantastic massage place just a few doors up, along with a 7‑Eleven and lots of places to eat nearby, which makes everything super convenient.Overall, another great stay — we would highly recommend this hotel.

We spent a great three nights in this hotel. Hotel was spotless, the staff very welcoming and the beds comfortable. The location was very central to shops, bars, restaurants and temples. We highly recommend this hotel for your trip to Bangkok.

Comfortable twin room, with double bath & small balcony.Room facilities OK, good quality bedding & no intrusive sounds from the neighbouring rooms or corridor.Excellent buffet breakfast - killer Thai soups, a selection of fresh hot food options & lovely fresh pineapple/mango to build your own yoghurt. Choice of bread types to make your European/continental breakfast, though not a lot of cheese/cold meat options to work with. Small rooftop pool - we checked it out but didn’t use either it or the small gym room

The hotel had a very welcoming atmosphere. Every staff member greeted us with a warm smile and was always ready to assist. After returning from the hot streets of Bangkok, we were especially touched when the staff offered us a refreshing hibiscus drink. The hotel was exceptionally clean and very well located, within walking distance of Bangkok’s main temples. Our room was also clean and well maintained, with a beautiful view of a temple’s pointed roof visible directly from the window. However, during late hours we experienced some noise from outside, and the soundproofing was quite weak—you could clearly hear activity in the corridor. The television offered a limited selection of channels. The bathroom did not have solid walls, only curtains, which may feel a bit uncomfortable when staying with someone, as sounds can be easily heard. Wifi connection in the room was for a limited device, you may not simultaneously use two device for internet connection in the room Breakfast had a limited selection, but the dining atmosphere was excellent, with a truly Pan-Asian ambiance. Next to the breakfast area, there was a relaxing space overlooking a pond with large, beautiful fish, which added to the overall charm of the hotel.Decision: Good hotel for a good price for those who come to Bangkok first time to get acquainted with the city.
