Location

39 suites, 58 single rooms and 129 double rooms are located on 17 storeys and can be reached by lift. English-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. A baggage storage service, a safe and a cash machine are available. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The apartment hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. A fireplace creates a cosy atmosphere. A variety of shops are available, including a supermarket. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park.     RUSTY PIPES! good hotel but bad showers for your skin

    Previously stayed here and everything was good until I found out the shower water had traces of rust and dirt. I felt so disappointed since the hotel is so nice. The staff was helpful but there is nothing to do because it’s the whole building that has the problem. I noticed because my shower filter and after 20min of running the water the filter turned brown. Won’t stay here again I don’t want all that rust in my body.     Not Safe, watch your belongings carefully

    I have been travelling in Southeast Asia for the past 7 months staying in more than 20 hotels and had a major incident while staying at this hotel. Over 5,000 Baht was stolen from my girlfriend's purse on not one but two occasions!!!Since this has never happened to me, I initially thought we may have lost or misplaced the money and decided to count money and put back in the purse the next day to see if someone is really stealing from us when we are not in the room which we did find the hard way and money was stolen again!! I immediately reported this to the management but all I got was a letter the next day that no one is stealing money and that they were not responsible for any lost and stolen items and we had to put our money in the safe? I did not get any follow ups from upper management which was another red flag.Obviously, we did not have any proof and all we could do at this point was to purchase a camera and put in the room for the remainder of our stay as the hotel management said they are not taking any responsibility for this and we just could not afford to lose any more money or valuable belongings!It is unbelievable and very sad at the same time to see this happening at hotel you stay in where you feel you should be able to have some trust with those hotel staff entering your room when you are out.     The Column Bangkok Hotel offers an average location, as it is not very close to the subway station, which can be inconvenient, especially for guests traveling with luggage. The facilities show signs of age, which may detract from the overall experience. Service at the hotel is also average, lacking any standout features.On a more positive note, the hotel boasts a lovely view from the swimming pool, providing a great spot to relax. The on-site restaurant is another highlight, offering a pleasant dining experience for guests. Internet connectivity is decent, with download speeds of 17 Mbps and upload speeds of 8 Mbps, making it sufficient for most needs.All rooms are situated on high floors, which can enhance the sense of privacy and security. Additionally, guests have the unique opportunity to fly drones on their room balconies, adding an exciting element to the stay.     The rooms are good. But the hotel has many rules too. Food is served at next door foodland cafe. No inhouse food is served many days. But this has easy access to many close-by places. Metro is close-by. A lot of malls too. Security is not a problem at the hotel. Staff is good and friendly.
