Location

This city hotel is located close to the famous Rama 9 Road, less than 4 km from the city centre.     Great place for nearly anything!

    Visited for a conference. I stayed in an upper floor room with a view of the city; was both quiet and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Service was unobtrusive. Elevators are prompt. Food at the restaurants- both ala carte and buffet was excellent, as was the service and friendliness. Conference rooms, chairs, etc. were the usual- comfortable but not exceptional. Pool, spa, workout room and a tiny garden were a nice touch. Highly recommended!

    Old fashioned style hotel located at Rama 9 with a comfortable bed and clean room,some amenities could be better,facilities that could be use at your stay like the fitness center and outdoor pool too.Near from the Rama 9 center mall which you can buy lots of stuff,but traffic jam sometimes especially weekend and rush hours.Most of the airlines crew use stays here.

    Hopefully I will never come back…It’s an old hotel, bad maintained and with bad services…The picture give the idea of how bad it is.The rooms are old and not really well maintained, they A/C too noisy…I had the “great “ idea to go for breakfast…no way! You can immediately see how cheap is the quality…the bacon was cold and I had to ask the chef the reason why…(they forgot….)The rest of the food was average and not many options for western.Overall not a good experience!

    I recently stayed at Golden tulip hotel Bangkok and wanted to share some feedback to enhance the guest experience. The rooms feel a bit outdated and could use some modern upgrades. I also noticed that the in-room massage service is no longer offered. This was a great feature, especially for guests arriving after long flights and dealing with jet lag. It provided relaxation and convenience, allowing one to transition straight to sleep in the privacy of their room.Additionally, the spa design could be improved. The swinging bar-like doors compromise the sense of comfort and privacy that guests typically seek in such spaces. I believe with a few adjustments, these areas could truly elevate the overall experience.

    We stayed at the Golden Tulip for 1 night whilst in Bangkok. We arrived at 9am due to an early flight from Koh Samui. We obviously couldn’t check in but was allowed to make use of the pool area which was fantastic. The sun loungers did get full quickly from around 10:30am. Huge pool and clean. There is a large gym and a fantastic changing room (1male & 1female) with lovely clean showers, toilets, sauna, hot tub & jacuzzi in. Once in our room, we were given a large family room with a separate dressing area and very large bathroom. The room could do with a refurb. It was last refurbished in 2002 looking on google, so decor, paintwork a bit tatty & outdated. HOWEVER, I could this rather novel & nostalgic - it was like stepping back in time (90’s) into a grand hotel with a beautiful staircase, elevators, decor etc. which clearly had A LOT of of money spent on it back in the 90’s and was once a very luxurious, grand hotel! The staff were friendly and helpful and other than the hotel being a little tatty around the edges, it was still clean & comfortable.
