    Havent been here for quite some time and it was good to be back. was nearly going to give it four stars but they need a little kick in the butt three for now.Pros: Gym is not much but enough to get a work out and the whole nearly 3 weeks not once was I there with anyone else so I could use it freely.Pool was lovely at 6am and again, no one in site. Afternoon the water was too warm to enjoy but that is not the fault of the hotel.I thought the cleaning staff were on there game and the two gentlemen who manned the doors were nice. The hotel overall was kept clean IMO.The tuk tuk to the station is always a great service.Aircon was good. Great size fridge and nice kitchen. Bath was really good too.Cons: couldnt get a smile out of the front desk staff and others have complained they were pretty cold. Second day in I asked for a desk lamp as even though it is a king size bed there is only one bedside table and no bedside lights at all. You have to get up go to the adjacent wall to switch off the over head main lights and make your way back in the dark. I thought it was just a simple oversight. When I asked the fron desk if I could possible get a lamp coldly I was told "No!" I asked why and was told we dont use them. I didnt bother to go any further with the conversation. The bed was like a rock and asked if I could get another room or mattress but was told they are the same in every room. I asked them to put a quilt under the sheet just for some relief which they did and it helped enough to make it bareable. I will stay there again as long as I can score a good price deal on line. I know what to expect and still enjoyed my stay.

    This was our second time at the Hope Land. Huge room, fabulous breakfast, good location, near metro, very clean. Windows open but you must keep net curtains closed against the mosquitoes. We sat on the roof near the pool in the evenings.

    Good location for bars, restaurants and a new food market but hotel very disappointing. Checked into our room and it was filthy. Building work going on next door so extremely noisy. Hotel staff were good at relocating our room, giving us an upgrade to a 2 bedroom suite. The room was cleaner but still bath drain full of hairs. The room very basic, uninviting and generally below average. Hotel is like a 3 star MAX. Needs some tlc. Didn’t bother with the breakfast or pool, the room cleanliness was enough to put us off. Won’t be going back

    This hotel is really good for the basics. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The rooms are massive and could easily be a longer-term option. They only serve breakfast, but with 7 11 a few meters away, that's not an issue.There is also a shuttle to take to the bottom of Sukhumvit road near Nana station, which is useful. The drawbacks are it far up the soi so if you struggle to walk it might not be the best hotel. Overall, it was a great stay, and I would recommend it if you're going to be out for most of the day.

    Poor conditionI was unable to use the bathroom due to a strong sickening smell rising up from the uncovered drain on the bathroom floor. I complained and requested to change room due to unable to use the bathroom. After staff inspected the bathroom they also agreed that the bathroom was unusable. The next day i was allocated a new room. No compensation or apology was provided to me regarding unable to use the ‘disgusting smelly’ bathroom. Broken tiles were ‘dumped’ on the ‘island’ in the outdoor swimming pool. The whole hotel could do with a good clean
