    This hotel was a revelation right on the heart of Khoosan Road so the noise level were extremely high especially at night time when the road became alive. We requested a room to the back and noise could still be heard . Reasonable location but still a good distance to the main tourist attractions that Bangkok has to offer so needed taxis and Tuk Tuks to visit these. Also a distance from the night markets which might not suit everyone. Also the beds were at floor level which for people with mobility issues were far from ideal so make sure to check beforehand and book sister hotel across the road. The staff were reasonably friendly but could have been a lot nicer. The room was quite small with very limited space around the beds. There was no tea making facilities provided fresh water was supplied each day. The breakfast was very disappointing with no choice and came at and extra charge. The pool area was nice but small with lack of sun chairs. But if you want to stay where the action is this is the hotel to stay from early evening this is where it all happens.

    Crazy stay at Dang derm in the park

    Dang Derm in The Park is a budget hotel right in the heart of Khaosan Road, so the location is unbeatable if you want to be in the middle of the action. There are loads of great places to eat in the surrounding streets, plus plenty of bars and cannabis shops everywhere.However, you need to be prepared for the chaos at night. The noise is extremely loud, with different music blasting from multiple bars at once. You can’t even hear a proper beat — it just feels like one constant loud racket. If you’re a light sleeper, it may be hard to cope.The rooms were basic and could have been cleaner, but for a short stay it was okay. Overall, it’s fine if you’re on a budget and want to experience the party atmosphere — just be ready for the craziness that comes with staying right on Khaosan Road.

    We stopped in Bangkok for a few days on way home to Uk after booking this hotel I then read the reviews and to be honest was dreading the stay …. However we were pleasantly surprised booked a triple room for three adults nice big room and comfy beds ! We were towards the back of the hotel room 2507 and heard no noise from the street at all … Pros … large rooms great shower , fridge Cons … air con a little noisy when on and the corridors resemble what I would imagine a prison to look like sparse and empty which make sounds fromThe corridor echo …Was a good price for a great location would stay again …. Staff on front desk very helpful arranged a taxi etc for the run to airport

    The photos on hotel booking sites are quite edited and looks more polished than the real one. The check in was okay but in one lobby there are two hotels that shares so somethimes it takes time before your concern can be accommodated, but the staff are really nice and always smiling. Why did I put only three starts you may ask, it is because two weeks after I got back to Dubai, I got diagnosed with scabbies and the Doctor informed me that it can be transmitted from dirty areas or beddings. The room I stayed in looks clean but since the mites are microscopic it cant be seen by the naked eye. I hope that they would do something about the cleanliness and sanitation of every room.For all those who are asking if the rooms afe quiet since its located in the middle of Khao San Road, I would say that yes I had a good sleep for all the nights I have stayed there.

    Rooms were clean the staff were lovely.The vendors at the hotel entrance way are abit much they come out constantly trying to sell you suites and never take a break.The entrance way of the hotels like a tunnel with a few shops that's where you will be hounded.Slept well here though the rooms were comfortable and clean noise didn't seem to be an issue I slept through any.
