  I had a really great stay at Kokotel Bangkok.   Excellent for a 3 star hotel

  Our experience at Kokotel was excellent. Chy and Nadia were excellent and so were the rest of the staff. Our room was always clean. Considering it is only a 3 star hotel they cleaned the room every day if we asked for it. Room was very spacious. We stayed there for 12 days. 7 mins walk to the on Nut station on the BTS, very convenient to the Lotus Supermarket too. I would go back to this hotel if I went back to Bangkok.   Extortionate "Cleaning" Fines and Hostile to Families

  Staying at Kokotel Bangkok Sukhumvit 50 was a massive mistake. This hotel does not practice hospitality; they operate a predatory "fine-trap" system. I would strongly advise anyone thinking of staying here to look elsewhere.I received a formal letter demanding 3,500 THB for supposedly "unfadeable" stains on a mattress topper and a "deep clean." To put that in perspective, the fine is more than the cost of the room itself. A hotel’s job is to provide professional laundry services for bedding; instead, Kokotel uses minor housekeeping issues as a way to shake down their guests for extra cash upon departure.It is predatory and completely ruins the experience of staying in Bangkok. If you have a family or actually plan on using the bed you paid for, be prepared for them to inspect your room like a crime scene just to find a reason to charge you more.The irony is that while they are aggressive about finding reasons to fine you, their actual cleaning service is pathetic:• The housekeeper failed to even clear the trash in the bathroom or remove empty milk cartons.• Their "cleaning" seems to only involve mopping the floor while ignoring basic sanitation like removing trash.Even the staff’s face expressions are completely unwelcoming. Save yourself the stress and the money—stay at any of the dozens of other hotels in Sukhumvit that actually understand what "hospitality" means. Avoid Kokotel Sukhumvit 50 at all costs. It is an extortion scam disguised as a hotel.   Do not trust- better hotels in literary the same street

  Do not trust this place . Nice on the way in but not so on the way. I will never stay at this brands property’s again Lots of good reviews, but they are just thieves. Did not stay here, would not refund me. I was kind honest and promptly let them know the back pain their beds caused me. They did not care, did not reply to my booking agency ignored them, and would not consider any time of refund. Nice on the way in, but the opposite on the way out. I guess they just want to trade reviews for money. Money is more important to them than the customer. Better hotels right next door honestly, like way better! At the same price, if not cheaper.
