    Spacious rooms, Thai style decor

    rating28 Mar 2026

I would recommend this hotel as the rooms are spacious, good air con and large bathroom. We were in the second building a little further down the canal path away from the main building. It meant we had a short walk to use the pool but that wasn't a problem for us. I think it was quieter in the second building. A good location, walking distance to the Kho San Road and to the main attractions of Wat Pho, reclining budda and palace. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel, there's a few places to eat along the canal.

    Has everything you need

    rating18 Mar 2026

Beautiful, very well-maintained hotel. We spent four nights at this hotel in March and were very satisfied.Check-in was quick.Room 316 is of average size and has everything you need. There is a mini-fridge, a safe, and the Wi-Fi and air conditioning work very well. Everything was spotless, and you could even open a door leading to a small balcony, but the view was of a poor neighborhood, so it was not very pleasant. The bed was very comfortable, but the pillows were very thin and quite hard.Bottled water is provided free of charge; just ask at reception if you run out.The breakfast is very comprehensive, with a selection to suit all tastes, and the food is very good. There is also a lovely little terrace and a pool where you can relax at any time. There is a 7-Eleven a few steps away, as well as an excellent, inexpensive little restaurant, the Family Restaurant, on the corner. As for the staff, they are fantastic. They are always smiling and incredibly helpful. They gave us excellent recommendations when we needed them.A big thank you to the whole team—congratulations on your excellent work. I definitely recommend this hotel to all travelers.

Convenient location, good price but bathrooms need some TLC.

    rating07 Feb 2026

As others have commented, It’s more 3 star than 4 star for sure. Nice Thai style entrance, all open plan and dark wood. Friendly and helpful on reception. Room was a bit dated but clean. Stain on sheets. Plenty towels. Bathrooms desperately need an upgrade & and it took a while to get the shower to work. But water was hot. Shower curtain very old and too short so water gets out. All a bit messy. Didn’t use the pool but others were using it, seemed popular. Breakfast was a disappointment (bagels, way too dry) and no cappuccino (but free filter coffee by reception) but we then ate breakfast 400 yards along the canal at their other place (the Ducklong cafe) and it was very good indeed. And to be fair they recommended we eat breakfast at this place. Canal walk is quite nice but canal is filthy. Saw a lorry basically emptying its tanks (god knows what was inside) straight into the canal at around midnight one night. Yuck. 15 minutes from the Khao San road (noisy there, quiet at the hotel) and we also walked to the reclining Buddha. So it’s convenient for that. I’d probably stay there again but would likely look for something else next time

    Rooms too hot

    rating26 May 2025

We stayed here last year in Feb and really enjoyed it, They seem to have slightly renovated the pool area but the rooms are the same. Nice for a dip in the pool after sightseeing, was lots of families with young children staying this time. The rooms were hot last year but at this time for year they were boiling. The way the hotel is situated the sun shines into the windows on either side of the building, unfortunately the curtains aren't backed so even if they are closed it doesn't remotely stop the heat in the room. There no foil on the windows to reflect the sun and they patio doors so its a lot of heat coming in. It was 38 degrees outside and the same in the room!!! the zircon just couldn't cope with it. I had been in the room for 1 hr and it was still too hot, they offered to allow me to swap rooms but that zircon also wasn't blowing out cold air. I went out for a while Sio they could fix my zircon, and it was cooler when I came back but was awake most the night because it was just too hot. So depending on the time of year would determine if I stayed here or not. Breakfast is basic but enough. 10 min walk from Khosan Rd, nice to watch the fish in the river.Staff are nice and did try to resolve the air con & allowed to leave luggage
