  Visited Loftel 22 last year for the first time during my annual pilgrimage through Thailand and enjoyed it enough it was a no brainer to come back. Fantastic hostel at a very reasonable price! Incredibly tight but relaxedly run ship here along with great rooms, helpful staff, nice cafe and excellent location. Check out the clips on YouTube (in Thai but give a good feel for the place). They also have a couple other hostel options in the vicinity as well. Will definitely continue to be a return visitor!

  I stayed for 4 nights in a private room. Its small but cute and very clean and comfortable.Good wifi, good showers & bathrooms (shared but plentiful, never had to wait and always clean), free drinking water, free use of desktop computers, very friendly and helpful front desk staff. I asked to move to a room on the top floor due to daytime traffic noise, was given a new room the next day :)Right next door to a 7/11 which is very convenient.

  Amazing Hostel in Chinatown, Bangkok

  If you are tired after having a long journey don't fret, because there's cheap accommodation in Chinatown. The staff at the hostel are well conversant in English and a to a certain extent in Chinese as well. As a regular traveller to Bangkok, sometimes for me its preferably to stay at LOFTEL 22 as its close to the Chao Phraya Express Boat Service. The boat service is a river ferry commute on the Chao Phraya that service between Sathon Central Pier and the Saphan Taksin Pier that's also is connected by BTS Saphan Taksin. Don't forget that to get to #3 Si Phraya Pier (off the Royal Orchid Sheraton) and cross the river with a ferry barge for passengers to get to ICONSIAM; this pier is only after the #4 Marine Pier along the backlane of Taladnoi behind Loftel 22. The hostel is also minutes walking to the Hua Lompong MRT and train station. Another great advantage for Loftel 22 is that it's always open and you don't have to worry what time you arrive. Even if, the check-in time is after 2 pm, you can just relax downstairs and order a cup of tea or coffee to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. Just beside Loftel 22, there's also a very famous noodle shop that serves delicious meat and fish balls noodles, in a very Southern Chinese style.   The location is good. Can be walk to Chinatown 5 minutes, to hualamphong station 7 minutes, to Si Praya Pier 5 minutes.The hostel is clean and good service.Nearby the market, Only cross the road.
