    Very good hotel closeby Khao San Road.Transportation from BKK (Suvarnabhumi Airport) or DMK (Don Mueang Airport) is easy by taxis. You may use some applications to get best rate. Do not directly go to taxi and accept its offer. If you use applications, you may save 40 %. (I do not mention application name because of advertisement issues) Also, ask driver whether he uses toll road or not. (Some drivers adds toll payment to total price after that. It is about 140 Baht) Location is easy to be found. Khao San Road is nearby, that means you do not need any transportation for dining and entertainment. Popular tourist attractions, such as The Grand Palace, Wat Pho, Wat Arun, flower market etc. are all in walking distance. Check in is easy and quick. Check in staff's warm hospitality makes you feel at your home.Rooms are comfortable enough. Only issue is cockroaches that some rooms have. After check in, we went diner for 1-2 hours. When we turned back to room, we encountered several cockroaches (6-7) walking on the floor. Having informed, reception changed our room. Good point is our second room doesn't have cockroach issues. My advice to hotel management: You need to apply pesticides periodically to all rooms.Rooms have refrigarator, kettle, coffee set ups. Bathroom is good and enough, balcony as well. AC is working well, but little bit noisy. Selecting fan speed "1" is the best solution.Hotel offers medium size swimming pool, where some hotel guests relax. We didn't have enough time to use it after visiting Bangkok attractions and having excursions. Pool working hours are 09.00 am to 21.00.Hotel offers free breakfast that we really like. It is Asian style that may not be completely fit to some guests. For example, breakfast doesn't offer cheeses, olives etc. However, serving yogurt types, butter, tomatoe, onion etc. gets very good mark.As a result, we really enjoyed this hotel except cockroach issues. We will choose again for our next travel to Bangkok.

    Don't believe the Photos

    We booked this hotel in Bangkok near the Royal Palace based on the price and the Photos.We just wanted a break away for a week and did not want to spend too much money and this looked like a good deal for the price.I will say that the fault is definitely ours because we have travelled a lot and our expectations of levels of comfort are high.when we arrived at the hotel, we immediately noticed how dirty and rundown it was which rang some bells at once. I cannot fault the staff who were professional and friendly.As we arrived after 8.30pm at night we decided to stay and give it a chance.The corridors were open to the elements, so no welcoming coolness and the lifts were not airconditioned very uncomfortable even at night.The rooms were small and very basic including the bathroom were in need of quite a bit of renovation to make them acceptable and comfortable.The air-conditioning unit was too large for the room and also very noisy, but you had to have it on to combat the oppressive heat, so we had a very uncomfortable night.In the morning, we went to breakfast in a space that was also mostly open to the elements and as far as smorgasbord breakfasts go in Hotels, it was very basic and not all that appetizing.We made the decision to book into a better property and left around lunchtime.I am sure many travelers will like this Hotel but for us it was disappointing and as I said before it was totally my fault because I did not do due diligence with my initial search.

    A good location near to the main tourist sites just don’t appreciate being made to feel like a criminal

    This is the second time that my partner and I have stayed here and have enjoyed it both times. We arrived early in the morning and we were able to check into our room early albeit at a very small additional cost. The room was a good size and clean with a good shower. Breakfast was fine with a good choice and nice strong coffee. Good location near to some very good value restaurants and within walking distance of Royal Palace and Wat Pho.My only minor gripe is having to wait until your room is checked before you are allowed to leave. All in all an enjoyable stay and we would return

    Very good location for Khaosan road and a short taxi ride to all other Bangkok locations. Hotel is basic but very clean and staff are very helpful and polite. I would recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to be near Khaosan road but not noisy. I would definitely go back again.

    We stayed twice. The first time for 3 days and the second just 1 night passing through. Clean and tidy with good buffet breakfast. Rooms a little tired but situated perfectly. Great for sight seeing Palace and Temples etc and plenty of bars restaurants nearby. Staff very helpful and friendly.
