  Onyx Bangkok Hotel is a good option for travelers who prioritize clean and comfortable accommodations at a reasonable price.Breakfast is very good with varieties of food.However, its location away from the city center is a significant factor to consider. If you don't mind traveling a bit to reach the main attractions or if you have business in the Ramkhamhaeng area, this hotel could be a good choice. If you're looking for a hotel in the heart of the action, you might want to explore other options.

  We were excited as it was our last week in Thailand, all of us are veteran travellers especially here in Thailand. We just left a beautiful hotel in Pattaya and came to Onyx. The hotel is in a really quiet part of Bangkok, if that’s what you’re looking for then great. You do have to walk a distance to a convenience store or any business really. There is a lovely coffee shop with a great menu, more affordable than Daddy G’s - the hotel’s restaurant. Speaking of the restaurant, which serves some of the best burgers and crispy pork, but the prices are painful. Breakfast wasn’t too bad, could be a lot better. READ THIS: if you’re looking for a pool then find another hotel!!!! Sorry, but you should have seen the look of disappointment on our kid’s faces when they saw the pool. Plus it’s across the street and open to anyone. Is it even cleaned 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️It’s a beautiful hotel, modern and clean. Great graphic design but would love to see improvements. I can see this being a great exit out of Bangkok being so close to the airport. 1. Laundry facilities please, even somewhere to hang what we wash in the room. 2. Instructions on how to use the safe should be with the safe. And it’s also easy to just pick up the safe and take it home 🤷‍♀️3. Better wifi, it dropped a lot when we had video conferences with our work. 4. Instructions for wifi printed somewhere in the room. 5. There is no pool. I mean let’s get real here. 6. Minibar in the room. I’m not normally a person who uses it, but being so far from anything it would make logical sense to provide your guests with choice. 7. So many of our taxi drivers would drive to Soi 55, but isn’t the entrance on Soi 53? 8. Give Khan a raise - haha he was awesome and super helpful and the only person who was confident in English other than the fella in Daddy G’s.

  A nice and clean hotel situated in a quiet area, just a short drive from the international airport in Bangkok. Friendly staff, I appreciated getting an e-mail from them shortly before the stay, with a few questions of relevance. Fast WiFi and great, quiet AC, in the room and in all other areas, which can't be said about most hotels in Bangkok at this price.The breakfast buffet at the Daddy G restaurant in the same building was extensive, both Thai and International food, also possible to order omelett from the chef. If bacon had been on offer too, I would have tried to convince TripAdvisor to introduce a 6th star in the rating-system. :)

  I stayed for 2 nights, the room is clean, smell good, the staff is friendly and helpfull.The breakfast is good. And the restaurant open until night, so dont worry about dinner. The hotel far from groceries store. But if you need something just ask the staff and they will help you :)

  Sleek and Modern Hotel near RCA area

  Pros:* Overall: A new, clean & spacious Hotel even though only 3.5 stars.* Price: Affordable room price which is inclusive of breakfast & WiFi.* Staff: Friendly, helpful & prompt.* Room: Spacious with kitchenette, sofa, working desk, dressing/make-up area & bathtub.* Additional Merits: Lift is customized for wheelchair (one of the rare initiative by small hotels).* Instagramble Hotel (though we didn't take much photos because not our priority).Cons:* Location: Nothing along the street except a coffee house which is a walking distance too (along the main road).* Breakfast: Yummy traditional Thai and Western cuisine, but everyday is same food, We stayed for 5 nights so by the 3rd day we started to get bored of the same food.* Swimming Pool: size of a Jacuzzi tub and too exposed (on the street).* Convenience Store: should make use of the empty store space (beside the swimming pool) to open a convenience store for Hotel Guests.* Hotel Signage at main road: As per attached photo, there is a lighted Hotel signage along the main road during the evening hours. However, when we returned back to Hotel late at night, the light was switched off and thus Drivers had difficulty to find it in the dark. Suggest to on the power till dawn.* Soundproofing: Needs improvement as able to hear the noise at corridor.* WORST CON: We would give a 5 star rating to Onyx Hotel if not for this issue - No peace enjoyment at times, especially when the tour group are out/back from activities. Morning we are awaken by loud conversations, even to the extend of shouting & screaming. Night is even worse - guests gather at the level 4 common area to chit chat till late and one guest even took a chair to sit at the corridor & blast loud music on HP. Sincerely hope the Management can improve on this area.OVERALL: Will stay there again if going to RCA area everyday.
