    The hotel staff were attentive, caring, and lovely. This is one of the best places I have ever stayed. The view from the room was absolutely stunning and breathtaking. The hotel is new, clean, and well maintained. It was definitely worth staying here.

    Riva Arun was an incredible place to stay in Bangkok. The views alone were unforgettable — especially soaking in the Jacuzzi tub filled with flower petals on our private deck overlooking Wat Arun and the river. It felt peaceful and luxurious in the middle of such a vibrant city.The location was excellent, within walking distance of Wat Pho, the Grand Palace, countless shops, and the famous 200-year-old flower market. The ferry stop is a few steps away! There were also many great restaurants nearby, including the hotel’s rooftop restaurant with stunning river views, especially at night when Wat Arun lights up.The staff was outstanding throughout our stay: warm, professional, and always helpful. Between the location, the atmosphere, and the service, this was one of our favorite hotels in Bangkok. We would absolutely stay here again.

    We recently stayed at Riva Arun for two nights to celebrate our 20th anniversary, and it was absolutely perfect. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived, making our stay feel extra special.The rooms were spotless, stylish, and most importantly, beautifully cool, which was such a relief after the Bangkok heat. We were so glad we secured a river-view room; the view over the Chao Phraya was simply spectacular at all hours, whether soaking up the daytime buzz or the magical night lights.The location couldn’t be better which was ideal for exploring all the main sights on foot or by ferry, which made getting around effortless.A memorable stay in a stunning setting. We highly recommend for a special occasion or just a fabulous Bangkok getaway.

    We stayed for two days on our way back home. The pictures did not make Riva Arun justice, everything was so much better in reality!Our room was amazing, large and with a balcony with jacuzzi, with a fantastic view over the river and Wat Arun. We even had the luck to see the most amazing drone light show over the temple the first evening.The restaurant is also very good, of course the same view and very good service, food and drinks.We have already booked two nights for our next vacation.

    Riva Arun Hotel - Outstanding Hotel Experience

    We chose to stay at the Riva Arun based on reviews from various travel sites and found it to be an outstanding experience. If you have a few days in Bangkok and want to be minutes away from the major sights - this is the hotel for you. We were able to walk (15 minutes max) or take a ferry ride (2 minutes) to Wat Pho, Grand Palace, Wat Arun etc. Its amenities were outstanding too - the hotel has a roof top restaurant that has the best view of Wat Arun at Sunset. And they bring expert masseuses directly to your room at fairly reasonable costs. However the best experience at any hotel is provided by its staff - and here the Riva Arun truly excels! The front desk staff of Toby, Pink, Nina took such good care of us that we didn’t want to leave. We received excellent recommendations and tips from every member of the front desk - that saved us time and money and also guided us to the best experiences within the time we had. The Restaurant and Housekeeping staff were wonderful too - we won’t forget Khim for the care she took of us. Please book a river view room on the 4th to 2nd floor for the sunset views. And if you enjoy negotiating at the clothing and souvenir street stalls - may I suggest bidding 60% of what the seller first proposes 🙂We hope you enjoy your stay at Bangkok - it truly is a special place - as is the Riva Arun
