    Stayed from 20 - 24 January.Our stay was fantastic and the location of the hotel of great - close to the major sites of Bangkok so only a short distance to go! The room and hotel overall were constantly clean and tidy which made our stay extremely pleasant. Even the small details such as candle oil burners to make the room smell nice and clean aromatic towels made the world of difference. We were provided with welcome drinks, a complimentary bottle of bubbly for the room, and a complimentary drinks token to use in the rooftop bar which was also a very nice touch. The breakfast was great and overlooked the river towards Wat Arun which was always lovely - the staff were also great at providing us with a really nice breakfast box for our early departing excursions. The hotel was great value for money and I would definitely stay here again!     I stayed six nights in the Wat Pho Deluxe Room – overlooking the golden reclining Buddha. A view that carries history, stillness, and energy all at once. As a conscious traveller (and author always tuned into spaces and their frequency), I felt truly received here. What touched me most were the details: an elegant room design (wood, marble, thoughtful textures), an outstanding breakfast experience (Sala Signature & à la carte that easily matches 5-star hotels), and many small attentions – from a handwritten welcome to fresh juices. Kew and Ohm from the restaurant deserve a special mention – their presence and kindness uplifted my mornings.The riverside location has its own rhythm: lively, sometimes noisy, yet undeniably Bangkok. The narrow alley entrance is not for everyone, but once inside, you step into another world.As someone who values conscious luxury, I’d love to see a little more eco-awareness in housekeeping (fresh sheets are wonderful, but every 2–3 days is more than enough – and lights don’t need to shine all day when a Queen shines her own light ✨).Overall: an inspiring, soul-rich boutique hotel that holds you with warmth and presence. I left feeling nourished, grounded, and very much at home.Would I return? Absolutely – this is a Bangkok gem.
