Location

Facility

The hotel has 36 junior suites, 6 suites, 340 single rooms and 80 double rooms, which are located on 33 storeys and are reachable by lift. Guests are warmly welcomed by English-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities available at the hotel include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday.     We spent our 1st 3 nights of a 3 week trip in Bangkok at this hotel, & I must say that this hotel is not cheap, the standard room I stayed in was around $220 per night. But they know their business & really did go the extra mile to make sure that our stay was unmatched in service, & quality. From the amazing crew at the check in & bell desk, to the rooms themselves, everything was as a top end hotel stay should be. The hotel room was spotless, & the mattress was one of the best I've ever slept on. There was even a pillow menu! Our every whim was handled with ease. I had to mail some packages, & the guys at the bell desk got boxes for me, & supplied packing materials as well. They made it smooth & easy.The breakfast buffet was nothing short of amazing! I hit the egg station every morning, enjoying the made to order omeletes, as well as the daily egg special that the chef created. I'd like to mention the paht krapow egg benedict; a perfect marriage of the traditional Thai stir fried dish, & the classic favorite. The manager was so nice & accomodating, she overheard my comment about not finding kow tom, a Thai boiled rice dish typically eaten for breakfast, & offered to have the kitchen make some for me. These above & beyond type of things are what elevated my stay from great, to exceptionally wonderful. I can only say that it was bittersweet to leave such a well run hotel. I salute the management & staff of the Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit for making my stay so memorable.     This hotel and it's staff, from the General Manager on down, are absolutely amazing! The housekeeping staff do everything they can to help make my stays here comfortable and homey. The food in all restaurants is delicious! The drinks in the Living Room and Barsu are amazing! Staff members like Ann, June, Wanida, Eddy and Boom make coming here the absolute best! I'll definitely be looking forward to my next visit here!     Amazing 2 months in Sheraton Grande

    It was such an amazing trip in Thailand because of Sheraton. The staff there are just on another level of hospitality, Khun Jame, Khun Aie and Khun Weera ( at concierge) they are such an amazing person. Especially Khun James, I want to thank you for always taking care of me and my partner , teaching us new thai words and sharing the thai culture with us. Khun James is amazing with the lotus, very lovely I learned a lot from it. Khun Pop, Khun Saksit are very nice, always smiles when they see me.I would also applaud the Orchid Cafè staff! Khun Ben the manager is very amazing, always making us feel like family rather than just a normal customer. Khun Ken is very attentive. Khun Ploy, Khun Fern, I already consider them as friends. Very nice people.Khun Stefano, Khun Vlad and Khun Carl ,I wanna thank them for the amazing service and making the Sheraton service 10000000% amazing. Khun Manop, he is just the best!!!! Sheraton grande is very lucky to have a staff like him. Me and Chris are very happy he got promoted to Rosinni’s.     This is my second review over the year's and this hotel ranks, for me, as the best managed one in Bangkok.I hope the GM, Carl Vollscheck, does not leave very soon to another property.Not cheap, in comparison with other luxury ones in the area, but worse every penny.Outstanding front office and Concierge services.They go the extra mile to please the guests.We suffered a freak accident in the Pool and the hotel arranged the Doctor, drove us to the Hospital and paid the medical bill !Plus a lot of flowers, get well cards and so on.A definite return !!
