    Budget Hotel in Good Location

    rating04 Mar 2018

We had late night flight of 03:00 am for Delhi and we were staying in Le Fenix Hotel which is near to this Suncity Hotel. As we wanted to have our room till late night and Le Fenix didn't had rooms available so we moved to this hotel which only 50 mtrs away. They charged us for full night which is 850 bhat per night, I was checking rates online were way to high so if you want to book rooms then contact them directly, but this hotel doesn't have lift and have very small rooms. I think only thing which is good is location that is why rate is 850 bhat otherwise 500 bhat would have more than enough.Food is not that great as we tried Dosa and poori bhaji so I will recommend to go to nearby restaurants.Staff behavior was good and helpful. Overall an average experience.

Mattress looks like it was hit with paintball gun from bedbug blood spots. Air conditioning doesn't work. No refunds!

    rating02 Apr 2016

I was a walk-in customer and off the road and checked the room out which had a newly remodelled bathroom. Price seemed a bit high but I was tired. It was incredibly hot in the room when inspected it, so the front desk assistant turned on the air conditioner and set it to 23c which he said worked best and takes about 15minutes to cool the room down. After a shower it was still hot so I went shopping and came back 2.5 hours later. The room was still sweltering hot after 3hours. I checked the temperature on my GPS and it was 26.5celcius in my room. I had the Indian manager come because the air conditioning wasn't working and the argument ensured. He told me I must have been used to 4 star hotels and that this was normal and the room would cool off in the evening as it was a hot day. I have been traveling in south east asia for 10+ years and its hot everyday of the year in Bangkok I told him. They offered me another room and the air conditioning was comparable, it would NOT cool the room down. I asked for a refund and I'd change hotels but he said no refund as he couldn't rent the room out I had waited too long and it was too late. and that I should have told him earlier. I told him I was waiting for the room to cool down but it never did, as his assistant says it takes time to cool down. That night the best bugs bit me several times on the face and back. I checked the mattress and it was so spotted with blood it looked like someone hit it with a paintball gun. I would tell you to avoid this place but I'm sure you already figured that out. Only highlight was they offered me a fan because it was so hot in my room.

    Budget hotel

The rooms are tiny and stink. The staffs are not professional at all. But if you are on a tight budget it's a place where you can spend the night. It's a basic hotel with minimal facilities.btw they serve Indian food at the restaurant. They also took extra one night money as advanced money for security, they gave money while checking out... I have spent two nights in the family room, they have also their own message parlour in the hotel.

Pathetic and almost a fraud restaurant

    rating26 Jul 2015

Hi,I didnt stay at this hotel, but went there for its Indian restaurant. The sole reason was a they had a decent Thali system with fresh cooked food. Now, the devil lies in the details. The Thali costs 150 Baht inclusive of water or cold drink or tea. Also, nowhere do they mention the quantity or number of rotees. To my horror, I was served a Thali even insufficient for a 10 year old kid. 3 micro bowls to hold 3 different vegetables (cooked very badly), a spoon of some gooey halwa, 2 rotees & stale rice. Now comes the bumper. They insist on you to take a water bottle or cold drink, but you are not allowed to take it away. They force to have it there in their glasses. Having said that I dont need this as of now, they dont wait for the dinner to end and just thrust it down your table.Poor taste, very bad management and ultra bad staff. Makes this place a strict no-go and HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED.
