  Two one-night stays across a two week period.

  We stayed twice in a two week period at the beginning and end of our holiday. The first attraction was the simple to use shuttle service to and from the airport, which leaves the airport every hour on the half-hour and leaves from the hotel on the hour every hour.The team were welcoming and although we didn’t require much from the hotel itself, the pool looked charming and the breakfast was enjoyable.There was a power failure in our room on arrival owing to a faulty kettle, but this was handled smoothly and quickly by the service team and we were upgraded to a suite which was available to limit any delay, as we had not unpacked yet.There are a couple of small shopping centres nearby (although generally no shopping mall is small in Thailand!) and we found everything we needed across two short stays.This was an exceptional value hotel for what we needed. Thank you to the team for making our stays enjoyable. We will certainly use you next time we are transiting.   Perfect Stay

  This is an absolutely brilliant hotel near Bangkok Airport.I had a reasonable amount of communication with the hotel while booking it, as our flight out wasn't until 10pm, so I was looking for a late check-out. They also sent me information about the free Hotel Shuttle from the airport.When we arrived, everything I'd hoped to get was already in place - I had an email from the hotel shuttle and the reservations section had already set aside the room for our late check-out. A 6pm check-out at 50% of the room rate I'd already paid I thought was fair. We booked the return shuttle to the airport at reception in advance.The check-in staff were absolutely lovely. Indeed, all the staff were - the shuttle bus, hotel staff, bar staff, restaurant staff. The Thai people are all so polite, smiling and don't seek tips for every little thing. Hotels in western countries could learn a thing or two from hotels like The Park Nine and its staff.The room was great - large and spotlessly clean. Very comfortable. We went to the mall that others have spoken about; had a drink at the hotel bar; a coffee in the hotel coffee shop (twice); exercised in the gym; ate a dinner at the hotel restaurant; and had a great chicken Pad Thai at a 'Mum & Dad' restaurant across the road for next to nothing (Welcome ThaiFood).The Park Nine Suvarnabhumi had everything we needed for our short lay-over in Bangkok. I can't recommend it highly enough and it will be the first place that I look at next time.   Good but lots of street noise

  We had stayed here a year ago for one night and been given a pool facing room. It was superb and spacious as we had been upgraded to a suite. This time I booked a deluxe king and so I expected a much more compact room, and that was totally adequate for our one night there. However, the street noise was a bit too much for me. The room (713) was set back from the street by quite a distance but the windows needed to be better to provide eniugh sound insulation. I am a light sleeper so that may not bother most people and indeed it did not bother my husband who sleeps through most things. Breakfast was adequate, we weren’t too hungry anyway but the fresh fruit was fine although the juice tasted like it was from a carton rather than truly fresh. I had a nice poached egg and there was a noodle station but I didn’t have the appetite to try it. We also had dinner there the previous night but just shared a pizza as we had had a late lunch. The pizza wasn’t too bad at all, but the little prawn crackers with the chilli dip served with our beers hit the spot.We didn’t use the pool this time but we did last year and it’s a nice size. It’s also nice going down to look at the activity along the klong, there’s always a few birds dotting about and fish jumping. We also got a space on the shuttle to the airport in the morning, it’s very handy.Would I stay again? I would but I would have to make sure I got a pool facing room so I knew I could get a decent sleep.
