  Our Favorite place in Bangkok!

  This was our 4th time staying at the Villa Cha Cha Banglumphu, and it is our favorite place to stay in Bangkok for many reasons. It's location near, but not on, Khao San road is ideal for people watching and walking, but the hotel is still quiet and calm. The staff at the hotel and at the restaurant are absolutely the best in Bangkok, always kind and very helpful. The courtyard pool is the favorite for our kids, and the rooms are consistently clean and comfortable.

  I went to the hotel bar and ordered a water drink. The waitress, a very rude girl in a dark pink shirt, treated me like dirt for no reason. I asked for a glass because they had taken mine during my drink, and instead of bringing me a glass, she brought me the bill and told me to leave. It's a disgrace that they treat customers like this because they depend on them for their livelihood. I don't recommend this place. I have friends who have stayed at the hotel several times, but after I told them about this, they're now considering going somewhere else.The owner should be more careful about hiring people like that.Fui al bar del hotel y pedi un agua para beber..y la dependienta encargada una chica con la camisa de color rosa oscuro muy mal educada, me trató como una porquería.. sin ninguna razón.le pedí un vaso porque se habían llevado mi vaso en la consumición y en cambio de traerme el vaso me trajo la cuenta para que me fuera.. es una vergüenza que traten así a los clientes porque ellos viven de ellos.   The place had its pro's and con's. The good stuff: great pool, great location for street stalls, massages and was a handy pick up and drop off for Grab. Really nice restaurant next door that did a good full cooked breakfast. The staff were lovely and helpful.The price was good.The con's: my room was virtually an internal. The window in the shower looked out onto the back of another building. The room didn't have enough lights. It was still pretty dim with everything turned on. The bed was way too hard and the air con was noisy. There was no internal security bar so I put a stool in front of the door as a precaution. The place was run down and everything could use a coat of paint and an update.

  This is a great little place for a reasonable price, yes it is in need of updating however it is in the hustle and bustle and you can't really complain with the price. Staff booked a tour for us to the train and floating markets and stored our luggage both when we arrived and before we left. It's attached to a restaurant which is reasonable but you probably can find slightly better and cheaper food elsewhere locally. So the reason we dropped a star is because the safe did not work when we arrived and the air con leaked water all over the bed which was far from ideal. All in all I would stay again I would just insure the air con was not directly above the bed. The staff did put cleaned bedding on but OBS the bed was wet. They did fix the safe but this took a good few hours.

  Convenient and reasonable priced, friendly place to stay

  We have stayed many times at villa cha cha, it is well located on rambuttri Road, close to the hustle and bustle of khao san however much quieter and a good reasonable price. Property can be entered from thanon tani or thanon rambuttri road, the latter of which has plenty of restaurants and street food stalls, massage places and only approx 40min drive from bkk airport.The rooms are clean and quiet. Air con works well and the spacious bathrooms are well equipt.Whilst we have never used it there is a nice pool at the back of the property. The linked restaurants in the chain are great, we always start with a frozen strawberry daiquiri.Good value, convenient place to stay when you want a couple of nights near khao san road and grand Palace and reclining Buddha.
