This hotel is terrible! They told us the pool would be closed while here. They did not tell us it would be under heavy construction during the day. You can’t even rest. Lots of banging, drilling and pounding. They wouldn’t even compensate us for a free meal. The owner should be ashamed of this

Just returned from a 3 night stay.Great location for Khaosan Road and Soi Rambuttri Village.Lots of shops, bars and restaurants within a few minute walking distance. Staff all ok, not over friendly .Pool area lovely - however no shade whatsoever - no parasols etc - which was needed when the heat was 37 degrees last week.Breakfast was a nice variety.Room with a street view, overlooking the monument area. Nice and large but bathroom very small.Would stay here again.

We stayed here for 4 days while exploring the city sights and what a great hotel. The room was comfortable, hotel staff were nice and our reservation included breakfast which was really good with a great selection. I especially loved the breakfast sitting area. It reminded me of an old English pub. The pool upstairs was a nice way to relax after walking all over the city. The hotel is close (walk 2 blocks) to Khaosan Road which has lots of restaurants. If you’re old like us, go to Khaosan road early before the music gets too loud. This area is also perfect for getting to the temples or waterway. Lots of taxis, tuck tucks and ride share apps that service this area. I’d have no problems recommending this hotel.

I stayed here in 2019 and when I came back to Bangkok I wanted to come back here. I wasn’t disappointed. Still classy, still close to but not part of the mayhem of Khaosan Rd. It is very quiet at night but early in the morning you may hear the clank of plates as the staff set up breakfast. Also the rooms are quite small and dark as the window opens onto the inner hall space rather than the outside.But the pool…we are in the low rise old city and the 6th floor rooftop pool has a clear view of the Grand Palace a mile away. It’s just sensational. Imagine flying in long distance and seeing this view on your first evening. There used to be a bar up there but when I stayed this time it was closed. For the price I’d say this place is excellent.
