Rooms

Rooms feature a kitchen and a bathroom. Air conditioning ensures comfortable temperatures. Guests can enjoy the view of the city from a balcony or terrace. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Separate bedrooms are available. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available.     Beautiful pools and fabulous cuisine!

    Our family of 4 stayed in the “serviced suites” across the street from the main hotel. The room had 2 bedrooms and 2 baths and was specious. The design is ok, I wouldn’t say it was as beautiful as a 5 star hotel room should feel in my opinion. The beds were comfortable. This place shines in their pool areas. Our serviced suite gave us access to a rooftop infinity pool that gives you amazing views of the city and river below, the kids loved that vantage point. The pool near the restaurant is lovely too as it abuts a beautiful Koi filled surround. The breakfast is absolutely delicious. The most beautiful, artistic and thoughtfully presented buffet with many other fresh made dishes to order as well. Our family favorite was the French toast. The dinner we had a steak house was also really wonderful and a nice contrast to eating mostly Thai food our entire trip. The wine selection was fantastic. My only comment would be that the chips they serve with cocktails (I think they were Taro) are absolutely awful. Why do you serve them? Choose anything else…they are tasteless and disgusting. All in all I would recommend this hotel for the pools and delicious foods. The location is also really central to walking around town.     Anantara Chiang Mai conveniently located at the riverside near by Anusarn night market with tranquil views, excellent services, upscale restaurants, amenities to offer, has always one of our favorite places to visit. As a loyal Anantara member, we’re specifically pleased with the front desk staff, Bam, who greeted us with friendly, professional hospitality upon our arrival till we departed this morning, making our stay as comfortable as at home. The only downside is heavily smokey air quality in Chiang Mai during this time.
