This property is a lovely blend of stepping back in time and enjoying all the modern conveniences of a new hotel. The room was more than adequate and the bed super comfy. The floors and bathroom was spotless and we had a lovely view of the pool. Welcome drink upon arrival and the staff couldn't be nicer or more friendly. Breakfast was filling w/many options. Also enjoyed a wide array of beverages from the pool and restaurant. Had room service one night and it did not disappoint. Took advantage of the spa and it was pure bliss and simply amazing. Only minor things to note that were less than perfect: The mini bar is replenished daily but with only waters, 1 just, 1 coke and 1 box of milk. There are wine glasses in the cupboard but wine is not included nor is there beer (even though I read 1 per day would be). And only one expresso pod per person, per day. The beds are a little on the small side but again, super comfy. The location is ideal and you can walk to many things. Would certainly stay her again and found it to be a refreshing change to being in Bangkok. Quiet, calm, convenient and full of culture.

Absolutely loved this hotel perfectly positioned in Chiang Mai. The staff were wonderful and decor beautiful. Swimming pool and surrounding area amazing, with stunning garden. I would happily stay here again. A special thanks to Wawa who helped us so kindly when we realised we’d made a booking error. Will be sad to leave!

Our stay at Chala Number 6 was nothing short of perfection, offering a flawless sanctuary of very high standing right in the center of Chiang Mai's Old City. The staff was "aux petits soins," providing an exceptional level of attentive and warm service that made us feel incredibly special. Our suite was absolutely magnificent, and the hotel grounds are stunning, featuring a lush garden and a magnificent swimming pool. Every morning began with an exceptional breakfast, and our dining experiences at the Chala Thai Restaurant were spectacular, with refined dishes that beautifully showcased the richness of Thai culinary culture. To top it all off, the massage we received at the spa was absolutely divine, providing an incredible sense of relaxation and well-being. This hotel is the ultimate choice for a luxurious escape in Chiang Mai!

Really enjoyed staying at Chala Number 6. It’s a peaceful and quiet hotel in a great central location within the Old Town.The staff are genuinely friendly and welcoming - they greet you warmly from the moment you arrive. They even kindly packed a breakfast box one morning.Breakfast is included daily at their restaurant, and I also loved the complimentary afternoon tea with delicious bite-sized portions that let you try more of the local food.In summary, it is a relaxing, well located hotel with warm hospitality. Highly recommended.

Lovely deluxe hotel well located in old city

On the advice of our Travel Agent. We stayed in the Chala number 6 hotel for three nights and couldn’t have enjoyed it more. Staff are friendly, competent and polite. Our large room had a balcony overlooking the lovely garden and pool. Very quiet. All possible amenities, except for not enough shelf space in the bathroom and no magnifying makeup mirror.We strongly recommend Chala number 6 for a luxurious and relaxing stay
