    Great little hotel!

    rating02 Dec 2022

The location is excellent; the hotel is surrounded by restaurants, bars, and massage shops, with Somphet market at the end of the soi. It’s really easy to find transport as Ratchapakhinai Rd is at one end of soi 6 and MoonMuang Rd is at the other, and both have plenty of songthaews and tuk tuks passing by.I had a bright single room with a balcony, and although it was at the front of the hotel, it was quiet and peaceful. The hotel appears well maintained and is pleasantly (and looks like recently) decorated. The bed was comfortable with quality linen, and everywhere was clean. The water pressure in the shower wasn’t great. Wi-fi was good. There’s no lift, but I was helped with my suitcase. There’s a ramp at the entrance to the hotel. There is a cosy bar at the front of the hotel, although it was never very busy. I didn’t have much interaction with the staff apart from check in/out, but they were always courteous in passing. The room is serviced when you hang a sign on the door “please make up my room”, but other than that you are given privacy which I appreciated.I really liked this hotel and will stay again. Highly recommended.

    Petting Zoo

At night, after a walk, cockroaches were discovered, it was a great pastime. The hotel was very difficult to find, I had to ask the locals if they knew where it was. There were also ants in the room, there were not enough rats for complete unrestrained fun.

    Wonderful place to stay!

    rating20 Dec 2020

I travelled to this property a couple of years ago and I must confirm it was a pleasing experience; after speding some nights sleeping at hostels with shared rooms, this hotel became a little oasis to relax and enjoy the beautiful city. It's very well located, next to a canal and just a few minutes far from the city center, on walking distance. The staff was very nice and, I don't know what kind of product were using on the sheets, but it smell like heaven. The only downside would be the breakfast which, compared to ther locations, it's a little bit "short", but completely worth the price.

    Pleasant Stay

    rating08 Mar 2020

The Chinda Boutique is a very clean hotel. The rooms are fresh and bright. Staff is friendly and helpful. Everything worked. WiFi good. There is a bar for cocktails and almost cold beer. No food is served but they plan to in the future. Walking distance to several temples, old city wall and many restaurants and massage businesses. Pleasant outside seating area. Good choice.

Clean room, no problems, though with thin walls

    rating20 Oct 2019

We had no issues during our stay - it's certainly not luxury accommodation, but it's clean and decent for the price. Note however that the walls were thin enough that we could hear our neighbours clearly, but this was on our final day and luckily they didn't make prolonged noise to be a real problem. There's certainly a bit of an odour - after a few days you might start to notice it, or in my case, when my partner kept consistently pointing it out until I detected it. So it may be a problem for some but not all. The place is not new and definitely shows it, but is kept clean otherwise.Service was friendly enough - there are different people manning the front desk depending on the shift, and some are much more business-like than others. For me, the best part of staying here would be the resident kitten who absolutely insisted on getting attention, so I obliged. If you're looking for budget accommodation and have few needs beyond a clean room to sleep in (and maybe have earplugs just in case), this is a decent enough choice.
