Location

This hotel is located at the foot of the famous Doi Suthep Buddhist temple, on the main shopping street of Huay Kaew, and offers great access to the nearby tourist attractions. It is only around 10 minutes from the centre. The airport and the night bazaar is approximately a 10-minute drive.

Facility

The complex has a lift and features 164 rooms and 4 suites. English-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a cash machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. A number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional amenities include a TV room and a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, a car hire service, a transfer service, room service, a laundry service, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. A balcony is among the standard features of some rooms.     Good hotel with lovely garden.Breakfast is good with Asian and Western food.Nice pool (with only 8 sunbeds) in beautiful garden.We had a suite which was very clean and comfortable.Furniture old fashioned though.Friendly staff.Coffeeshop on grounds with good cappuccino and food.Many planes fly over during the day. Not a problem for me, I followed the plane in the flightradar app.Close to Maya Mall ( 10-15 min. walk), which has a great foodcourt on floor 4.

    We stayed four nights at the Holiday Garden Hotel & Resort The staff were welcoming and helpful , the room spacious and vey comfortable and very clean The buffet breakfast was excellent with a selection to meet the needs of all guests – my wife particularly liked the omelettes We ate at the … red 199 rustic but good food offering excellent value all be it with an eclectic music mix – turn left from hotel and left again on the main road … taisho – excellent food - excellent value ----turn right out of the hiotel , next right , next left to t junction We walked into the old city about 40 minutes walk – enough temples to occupy a couple of days – turn left out of the hotel the left onto main road and just keep going till you meet the city wall We also took a day thrip to chiang rai – we used chang mai Thailand tour centre – excellent Would select this hotel on any future visits

    We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The rooms are outdated and look sober. The water from the tap was also occasionally brown. This hotel is more worthy of a two-star than 3 star. Don't come back here

    Noisy next-door rooms and allergies

    At the first view the room was clean and tidy; however, I started getting allergies all the time when the AC was on. I suspect it might be due to dust in the room.There is a door between my room and the next door. It was locked but there is a gap at the bottom of the door so basically we can hear the next door. On my second night the neighbor alarm went on at 3 am and lasting for a while, making me cannot sleep.The bed was not also comfortable.... combining with the allergy above, I could not sleep very well the whole stay.
