  This was one of our stops while exploring Thailand. The hotel was in a nice area within walking distance of plenty of street food, restaurants, and a 7/11. The room was comfortable and spacious. The one thing we didn’t like was that the on-site restaurant closed very early in the evening, so we ended up ordering delivery for dinner. Breakfast was standard—nothing crazy, but good. The staff was friendly.

  The hotel's public space looks impressive, but the room I had was strange. First, it had a large balcony overlooking the golf course, but there was no door to go onto it. The room door had a huge gap underneath it, so the light from the corridor penetrated the room all night, quite like in a hospital. That was very unpleasant, I had to put towels beneath the door to block out the light at night. Cleaning must be improved: I found long black hairs on the floor several times.

  Nice rooms in this hotel 15 minute walk from old town.

  Modernish and very clean. Staff on desk and elsewhere very polite and want to be helpful. Small gym but no one ever used apart from us(no weights but did have two mats which was appreciated). Does have a pool. Felt more ornamental or just for cooling down but again, very nice. Great cappuccinos. Didn’t eat in restaurant which is more like a cafe. Shower works well. Fresh towels when you wished. Comfortable bed and air on the works. Fridge. SmartTV. Safe. It’s a bit out of the way but short Grab or 20 minutes walk to old town. There is a nearby laundrette (24x7 and a 7-11. No real outside space to sit at (reception yes, but can’t eat or drink) which is a bit of an issue if you have free time. But we’d stay again.

  Lovely hotel with great rooms

  This hotel is brilliant and very reasonably priced. The rooms are very impressive and the hotel is very clean, with friendly staff. The location is close to the airport so it is very easy to get to and from your flights and it is only a 20 minute walk into the city or a very quick/cheap taxi.

  Disappointing, Exhausting, Waste of time

  To start off this review - i cannot comment how the amenities and facilities of the hotel were as we didn’t make it past the front desk, based off off the experience we had i can only expect, had we’d stayed that our time there would be sub-par from the initial welcome we got.We arrived at the hotel after travelling for 12 hours, tried to check in and after about 20 minutes of waiting had to ask the reception what was going on - we were then told that we had “underpaid” for our reservation and they would require a full payment of the money they did not charge us. Obviously this is not what you want when you first arrive at a hotel and when we disputed this we were told that we had received an email stating that we were “undercharged” a few months prior. Having gone through every email back to the date stated we confirmed that no such email was sent and therefore should not be asked to pay anymore than we already had. After another 20 or so minutes of waiting, the receptionist was on the phone to their manager and also a representative of booking.com they then told us that we can stay with no extra charge just we would have to pay for breakfast. We were thrilled to hear this and things started to look up for us, however not even a minute later we got an notification stating that Hyde Park hotel had cancelled our reservation and we would then have to re-book and pay full price.Having been in this situation for almost an hour now we were absolutely exhausted and were completely put off staying at the hotel whatsoever - we then left and got another hotel which we were checked in at no less than 10 minutes later. Overall this was such an unnecessary and inexcusable experience which we would not think a reputable hotel such as this would allow to happen.FYI - The staff working the front desk were lovely and we had no issues with them as they were very apologetic and sympathetic with us. The issues lie with the Management of the hotel and their decision to lie and scam their guests months after making their booking.
