  I recently stayed at the Imm Hotel Tha Phae during my trip to Chiang Mai and found it to be a very convenient and comfortable place to stay, particularly for travelers who want to be based right in the center of the city. The location is easily one of the biggest advantages because it sits directly beside the famous Tha Phae Gate area, making it incredibly simple to explore the historic Old City on foot. Many temples, cafes, markets, and small local shops are just a short walk away, and the nearby walking streets make the neighborhood feel vibrant both during the day and at night. For anyone visiting Chiang Mai for the first time, this location makes sightseeing effortless because you can reach many of the city’s main attractions without needing transportation, and if you do want to travel further there are always tuk tuks and the red songthaew taxis passing by right outside. The hotel itself is practical and comfortable, offering clean rooms with everything needed for a pleasant stay. It is not overly luxurious but it feels well maintained and designed with travelers in mind. One thing I appreciated was that breakfast is available at the hotel, which makes mornings simple before heading out to explore the city. Another very convenient feature is that there is a McDonald’s directly connected to the building, which is useful for grabbing a quick coffee, snack, or late night meal after spending the day exploring Chiang Mai. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay, and the service felt welcoming from check in to check out. They were always available to answer questions or assist with basic travel needs, which made the stay smooth and comfortable. Considering the location right by the Old City entrance and the overall convenience of the area, the hotel is also reasonably priced which makes it a very good value option for travelers visiting Chiang Mai. Overall I had a pleasant stay and would recommend it to visitors looking for a comfortable and well located hotel that makes exploring Chiang Mai easy and enjoyable.

  To be honest it was a great stay for 3 days in Imm hotel everyday they provided new bottled water, towels, tissues etc. I also loved about their breakfast buffet it's a well balanced meal with sausages, eggs, steamed rice, 1 veggie, 1 meat, with variaties of yummy fruits, cereals, breads, many more. The staff are all accomodating and well mannered in such a way that I needed a iron also they provided it to our room. Around the hotel you will find different Thai Massage, restaurants, fast food chains, ice cream house, many more.

  The IMM Hotel in Chiangmai is of average standard. The rooms are adequate. The bathroom are too much smaller, No place to keep the luggage and no wardrobe. The breakfast has minimum choices and he menu is the same everyday. Very few choices for vegetarian guests. The staff are not very friendly but still OK. They do listen guests want in room and do their best to ease them. I suggest, they should change their breakfast menu everyday with more choices for veg items so both veg and non veg can enjoy.

  Imm Hotel is not a luxury property, but it offers a comfortable and convenient stay, especially if you're looking for a central location. Situated on higher ground, the chances of flooding are lower, which is a bonus. There are great food options nearby, like Sarita Kitchen and Indian Spices Restaurant, which are a real treat for Indian travelers.One of the best aspects is its location, as it's the main pickup point for Doi Inthanon trip providers—so there's no need to go elsewhere for tour pickups. The hotel itself is basic but has all the necessary amenities: a geyser, a clean bed, kettle, clean washroom, locker, toiletries—everything you need for a comfortable stay.The staff were very kind and accommodating, even trying to cater to our vegetarian needs, which we appreciated despite our specific Indian food preferences. Overall, it’s a comfortable stay at a very reasonable price, perfect for those who don’t need luxury but value convenience and good service.

  The best location for walking the area. Just in front of the busy gate, and easy access to the Sunday Market. Location is so central. Hotel room was fine. Basic but comfortable. Front desk staff is wonderful. Helpful and friendly. Breakfast included was a ‘Grab and Go’ style with both east and west dishes.
