  Good friendly place to safe away from the hubris but in easy reach if everything

  Very clean hotel on edge of walled city. Good suzed room with fridge, good wifi, aircon and hot water 24/7. Close both to walled city attractions and the main night market.Helpful, honest staff. Night before I left I was told I was entitled to a free taxi to the airport/station as I'd stayed 4+ nights. As I'd already booked a Grab, they refused me the Grab fare.One point to note: if you're in a room on the road side of the hotel and are a light sleeper,you'll need ear plugs.

  I traveled solo to Chiang Mai last week for a total of 8 days. I hadn’t done anything like that before & the staff were so accommodating. Mostly the two young front desk gentleman. They were so kind and patient bc I asked a ton of questions from how to walk to the nearest night markets to help with my Grab taxis when I was having difficulties. My room was clean & quite nice for the price & I loved the attention the cleaning staff gave to the room. Every day they promptly made up the room if requested and were so lovely to speak with. Also, the breakfast available in the morning was simply amazing at La Friandise & the staff at the connected Champor massage were so lovely. Great massage services & body scrub! The hotel is conveniently located walking distance from a few night markets, the Anusarn market, & about a 20 min walk to the larger inner city temples & popular Sunday night market. Thanks Old City Wall Inn staff for all your help and helping me have a comfortable and safe stay for this novice solo traveler! ♥️

  I returned here to collect my luggage after a trip to Hanoi. They had kindly stored it for me. A simple request for information about posting a scooter led to Ben, part of the family of owners organizing this is a way I dimply could not have done myself.A really lovely hotel in terms of physical space and comfort.   Staff made it feel like home!

  Best hotel experience for a great price. Stayed for about 2.5 weeks and the room was incredibly clean. The staff was amazing. Ben, the owner, assisted us with booking excursions and recommending things to do around town and our trip to Bangkok. The breakfast was amazing too. I can't say enough amazing things about this hotel and ALL the staff. Thank you, thank you, thank you!   Highly Recommended!I stayed in this hotel for just over a month. If you've never been to Chiangmai and are looking for a long stay or even a few nights I would say you should pick this one.In my opinion this is a great small hotel with a reasonable cost which is located in a good location. The hotel is right on the main road where you can hop on and off a taxi and just walk in the hotel. It is very convenient to get around everywhere you'd like to go. You can access the old town by walking. It's close to all attractions, hospital, pharmacy, restaurants, mini little places to eat, local markets, night walking street markets, shopping malls, car rentals, etc. You name it!7-11 is just a few minutes walk from the hotel. If you are the kind of person who loves having traditional Thai massage then you can get it right in the hotel. There are quite a few places to choose nearby, also the parking lot is free of charge. Most hotels in Thailand will let you park for free anyways, not like in western countries.The owner and the staff are nice, polite, friendly and helpful. I stayed in a suite with a garden side view which you won't hear any noise from the main road. The room was nice and cozy, clean, had a comfortable bed, well decorated and quite spacious with all amenities, mini kitchen, walk-in closet, sitting area and balcony. The only complaint I have is that I hope the hotel can find a better place to send their guests laundry. My new T-shirt got a stain on it. They fixed it but the fabric is ruined a bit. It's not noticeable that much so no big deal to me. My clothes were still wrinkled every time I got them back as well. Other than that I still think this place is great. The staff can assist you for almost anything you ask for. I am glad I found this place. Thank you to all the staff and the owner.
