    Modern Hotel near Thapae Gate

    This hotel was very well kept. It was super close to Thapae gate along with a lot of restaurants and bars. We walked everywhere we went while in Chiang Mai. The only places we actually used transportation was for our day trips and to Doi Suthep, which we were picked up from our hotel both times. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The only downside was the hotel doesn't have an elevator which made it a little difficult for us as we each had 50lb luggages to haul to the fifth floor. Otherwise I would definitely recommend this hotel!

    The housekeepers and hosts are very good at providing better service than expected. Early check-in and late check-out are available free of charge and talk like family.If there is a chance to go back to stay again.

    This hotel has no elevator but the best view is on 5th floor. Just one thing that is inconvenient for old people. Another things are good, clean, fresh food and delicious Cocktail. Near to the Sunday night market and quiet. Next time will book again.

    Thapae Happy house is a 2 minute walk to Thapae Gate and central to many attractions and a Starbucks, although it's perfectly situated on a quiet street so you aren't bothered by noise from traffic or crowds. The front desk was incredibly helpful and friendly. Breakfast in their open air cafe was a good start to the day, ordered off a menu and cooked on the spot (ham and eggs, pancakes, etc). The rooms are compact and very tidy and the property has a clean, modern aesthetic. The owner even gave us a ride to the bus station on his day off - much appreciated!

    Stayed here for 6 nights, the place ion first impressions from the outside didn't look that good but when we saw the rooms they were very clean, spacious and had AC. The staff very all very friendly, Josh and his dad was very funny and we sat a chatted a few times, his dad's smoothies in the morning are good 👍It's just around the corner from thappae gate where there's a massive outdoor market, loads of street food nearby to try out, we ate at them all the time.
